Step aboard the 'Equinox' to let the magic begin. The 30' Blackfeather catamaran is a true fishing vessel. There's plenty of space for up to 6 guests, and you'll be free to make yourself at home. Stock your food and drinks in the onboard cooler, or bring your own for when you take a well-earned break. The boat comes fitted with a full toilet, too, so there's no need to worry about filling up too much.
You'll make use of top-of-the-line rods and reels, along with downriggers, as you have the edge over these strong fish throughout the day. As well as trolling, you'll get to bottom fish, jig, and drift fish to entice the bite of your target fish. Use frozen bait or catch herring as you head out, and you're all set to go after some monster fish. Get ready for some heavy lifting as you aim for huge Halibut, test your skills to keep leaping Salmon on the end of your line, and drop deep to fill the boat with dazzling Rockfish and Lingcod.
The minimum group number to depart is 4. Contact us to check the available spots for you.
Head home with more than just a smile on your face, as you'll have enough fish to feed the family for weeks to come. The crew will happily clean your fish at the end of the day, or you can head to a professional cleaning service back at the dock. All you need to do is grab your fishing license and settle in for the adventure of a lifetime with Juneau Charters

Everything was great about this trip. Captain and mate are knowledgeable and helpful to everyone on the boat. Boat is well equipped Offered a shuttle from the port where i got off the cruise ship. I booked this on this app instead of using the cruise package. Captain assured me that I will make it back to the cruise ship on time. Also, he helped arranged getting my fiah processed and shipped home. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

My friend and I (two women in our 20s) decided to try halibut fishing. We were not disappointed on this 4 hour trip. I had never caught anything larger than a small mouth bass and didn't find it to difficult or embarrassing on this charter. My friend caught a 25 inch halibut and I got two cod (largest 31 inches). We had a blast and the crew went out of their way to try and get everyone a halibut. They were funny and happy to explain anything. We ended up paired with a group of three men who also caught halibut. The crew was able to bring the fish to the right people for processing/shipping. My firend and I were flying back so the crew took us to a local lady. The crew really went out of there way to make sure our fish got to someone for processing. They called and left our imformation with them. Was hassle free from my end. We picked up the processed fish the next day (costed us around $100 for our three fish). We really loved everything the crew did for us! Please remember to tip them!!!
We caught Coho and pink salmon. Cam and Lucus did a great job of keeping the lines fishing. Everyone on the boat caught fish. we would fish with them on the Equinox again. The Equinox is a 30 ft cat, it was a pretty nice ride.
Our group of 5 had a great time! They caught lots of halibut. Even took our group on some sightseeing in the area. Pickup from our cruise ship was very easy. I would highly recommend this charter. Mike and Austin were great!
Caught halibut, salmon, and flounder. Great skipper and first mate. They knew where to catch fish, and we saw many whales too!
Having lived in southeast Alaska for most of his life, it's no wonder that Captain Grantley is such a fishing nut. He brings to the boat plenty of enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge of the local area, giving you a real insight into the rich waters you'll be fishing. The whole team is well versed in the Alaskan waters and know every nook and cranny of Juneau's seas. Let them show you the stunning sights, whales, and incredible sport fishing adventures. 'FISH ON,' as Capt. Grantley likes to say!
