You're invited aboard the captain's 31' custom built cold molded classic. This saltwater vessel is ideal for inshore or offshore excursions and is outfitted with state-of-the-art amenities.
She comes with Garmin navigational technology, outriggers for trolling, tuna tubes, and a live bait tank. You'll have a private toilet and ample seating and lounge room for the whole family to kick back, relax, and enjoy a full day of fishing. She accommodates up to 4 guests and kids ages 6 and older are welcome to join in on the action.
Drake Bay is well-known for its incredible opportunities to catch a variety of different species of fish. Within the bay, you'll target species such as Roosterfish, Cubera snapper, and Mackerel. Between 12 and 20 miles offshore your target window increases with the likes of catching Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail, Wahoo, Amberjack, and Broomtail Grouper.
Once you reach 20–60 miles, you'll start encountering Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin and Bigeye Tuna, and other pelagic species. Capt. The Captains of Aguila de Osa have been fishing these waters since 1992, being the first fishing operation in Drake Bay. Fishing the water around Caño Island and the Osa Peninsula for the past 25 years, it feels like their back yard. Captain Deyner Chavarria, lifelong resident of the of the Osa, is bilingual has fished these same waters for 19 years and now with his crew has took up the reins of running the Albatros for the past 5 years. Capt. Deyner is extremely knowledge of the area and his passion to entertain people is known. One of favorite parts of the job is being able to instill the passion that he has for fishing onto other people.
