Capt. José will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 6 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Dolphin, Roosterfish, Tuna, Amberjack, Grouper, and Jack, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Don't forget to buy a fishing license before the trip!

The catch you keep will be shared with the crew following the trip. Please get in touch with the captain if you have any questions.

The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks, drinks, but you're welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.

Two years ago he decided to turn his hobby into a profession and start guiding trips and showing guests how beautiful and rewarding of an experience the local fishing grounds can provide. Jose speaks very basic English, but when he has English-speaking customers he hires a guide that speaks English fluently.     Very enjoyable and successful day with Jose on Pez Koi. After catching our bait, which was fun in itself, we headed out and caught mackerel, snapper and blue jack. Coming back into the Golfito Bay, we caught a couple trophy fish including a rather large needlefish and a rooster fish. Jose was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He cleaned our snapper which made an excellent dinner. Highly recommended.

    Best fishing trip ever! Captain Jose was outstanding! He put us on the fish we wanted to catch and was very helpful throughout the trip. If you want to fish in the area Captain Jose is the one to use.

    Our trip fishing with these guys was absolutely first class from start to finish. The Captain and mate Eric were friendly and accomodating and truly knew fishing. Commucation from start to finish was key in the organization of this great trip. The boar is spotless clean in perfect condition and very well stocked. We fished for Mahi being one of the best times in December and the guys did not dissapoint. We caught 11 mahis and had a very large tuna throw the hook after around 35 minutes. Amazing experience. There were other boats at the area the fish were but they seemed to be only able to deal with one fish on at a time where as we had 2 and 3. If you are looking to fish in the Puerto Jimenez area look no further than these guys. 100 star experience
