Sufishiente Sportfishing 

Our day began weeks ago when I first read all of the reviews and contacted Capitan Carlos. I selected him because I know there are days when the ocean doesn't want to give up her bounty, Im okay with that, and his reviews showed that he would turn our trip into a nature excursion if it were one of those days. Our day turned out to be both. We met Carlos at the dock bright and early. He asked what we'd like to fish for. I said, "you're the professional, you tell me what we're fishing for today." He said okay and we were off. As we headed out 21 miles Carlos explained how different species congregate and utilize different skills to hunt and feed. He explained that he has decades on the ocean and his knowledge showed. As we continued he spotted a pod of porpoises and pointed them out to me. Just then a huge porpoise jumped right next to the boat and made the entire trip 100% worth it. When we finally got the the area we were going to fish Carlos explained the connection between the porpoise and the marlin and I could easily see the porpoises swimming with their babies and breaching in every direction. Then I saw the fin of a marlin. Once I saw the one I could see the many. Carlos set us up and within 10 mins, marlin on! I was excited and so nervous. This was my very first marlin and Carlos took me to catch it. We had a second one on just a couple of minutes after bringing in the first. That one said not today and got away. We had hits from dorado as well but they hit the lures not the bait. Still awesome to watch the fish hunt the lures. My husband and I had a wonderful day on the water with Carlos and are so grateful for his wealth of knowledge and his expertise. Although I've been deep sea fishing many times in my life I consider myself to be a novice and Carlos was great at talking me through the things. He is safe, personable, knowledable. I have been coming to los cabos for the activities and especially fishing and golfing for the last 30+ years and can honestly say that capt carlos is by far the best capt/guide that I have had. very professional and personable . We went for about 1 hour boat ride from the marina and dropped our lines and a 1/2 hour later caught our first dorado about 15 pounds,then 15 minutes later hooked up and eventually landed a 145 lb striped marlin, then caught 2 more striped marlin and another dorado about 25 pounds. It was Fantastic trip and good time, thanks again Carlos

Carlos delivered an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. He had lines in the water in no time, and before we knew it, we were reeling in Tuna and Mahi Mahi. As if that wasn’t enough, we even picked up a grouper on the way back in. The action never stopped, and it genuinely felt like we were the busiest—and luckiest—boat out there. We had an amazing time and couldn’t be more grateful for a morning filled with great fishing, great company, and nonstop action. Highly recommend booking with Carlos if you want a trip that truly delivers.

my husband and i really wanted to catch rooster fish if nothing else. Our captain, Carlito, knew exactly where we needed to i go and we weren't there 10 minutes before I reeled in a rooster that was about 36 lbs! then it was one after another just as big and beautiful as the first. We were so impressed with Carlitos skills and knowledge of the area. He had our lines prepared and ready lickity‐split! He never missed a beat! if you want to sport fish in Cabo San Jose then sufishiente and Carlito will show you the time of your life!

We caught 2 big yellowfin tuna today! Each of them took 1 hour+ to hook up. Captain Carlos was super experienced and patient, there’s a shark after our tuna, but he managed to lure it away. We didn’t catch a marlin, but it was unlucky — the fish was hooked but got away. I will definitely come back again for a marlin hunt.

Me and my dad had a blast fishing with Carlos today. He asked what we wanted to catch and put us on exactly what we came for. Roosters, jacks and mahi! He filleted our Mahi for us and we were able to take it to a restaurant by the dock to cook for us. 10/10 trip and I will definitely be coming back.

Carlos was on time and ready to take 3 of us out for 6 hrs of fishing. We caught two large Yellow Fin Tuna. Carlos set us up with a group of gentleman at the marina, who filleted our fish. Carlos did a great job on all aspects of this fishing trip. We caught far more fish than any other boats in the area. The conditions for fishing were not perfect, and Carlos was still able to find the fish.I highly recommend Sufishiente SportFishing with Carlos Cota Lucero

very nice man works hard to get on fish today was just tough and it was not his fault he put us on 5-6 surface marlin they just would not eat today thats just fishing. we caught several shark off the reef and seen lots of dolphins. def would come back and fish with gim again.

awesome experience with captain Carlos. really experienced fishermen who knows his trade very well. takes the time to lnow what experience you are lookong for and helped us get actions with big fishes as it was we were there for. (trophy yellowfin tuna, marlin and mahis) also, we appreciated that he took the time to explain us fishing techniques and share experience about his fishing. highly recommended!

Captain Carlos is the man! My wife and I not experienced seasoned at fishing by any means and caught 3 Marlin! Carlos was super helpful and would definitely recommend. 10/10 boat was great and vibes were all time.
