Captain Andy's Salty Adventures will take you on an excursion through the pristine flats, rivers, and inshore waters of Tampa and St. Petersburg in Florida. Captain Andy Kouris has spent the last 27+ years studying every cove, inlet, and honey hole in the area in order to deliver the best fishing experience to his customers. After fishing with Capt. Andy, you can expect to leave his boat satisfied and wanting to come back for more action!
Your adventure will take place on a Sea Pro SV2100 center console, equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including navigational electronics, safety gear, fishing tackle, a live bait tank, and a portable toilet. You'll have an icebox to store your catch, as well as multiple coolers with snacks and cold water. Capt. Andy provides chips, granola, and energy bars on all of his trips to make sure you'll be energized for the day ahead.
You can expect to target all of your inshore favorites, including Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and more! You may also encounter certain Shark species that like to lurk in shallow waters, such as Lemon and Nurse Sharks. You'll be provided with top-quality Penn rods and reels and live bait is also included in the price.
Capt. Andy will offer to clean and fillet your catch so it's ready to be thrown on the grill for a tasty meal after your trip. Your fishing license is also covered. All you need to do is keep your eye on the prize and focus on the catch!
Capt. Andy loves taking families out on the water and particularly enjoys having children aboard. He's a patient and knowledgeable teacher and nothing makes him happier than being able to pass his passion for fishing down to the younger generation.

He was great with them, kept everyone engaged, and knew exactly what he was doing. Right at the end, he put us on a massive black drum and did pulled out every trick for us us to it. By then we were calling him the “Fish Doctor.” If you’re thinking about booking, go with “The Fish Doctor” Captain Andy. He delivers.

Quarter Day Trip - 12:00 PM on April 1, 2026 • 3 adults • 1 childandy was great. put us on fish. it was my 9 year daughter first time saltwater fishing and captain Andy was awesome with her made it such a good experience she wants to do it again. we only did 2 hours because i didnt know how my daughter would do. after the fact i wish i would of done four. my daughter alone caught 9 fish not counting what my dad and i caught. all and all great trip. would definitely used this booking again. thanks you captain Andy

Visiting from the UK - i chose to book Andy based solely on his super positive reviews and catch reports. From the outset it was clear that Andy is a highly accomplished angler. We had fish from the beginning of the trip - moving frequently to try new spots, in order to keep on top or the fish…. Being new to Florida fishing Andy was a great tutor - taking time to help me throughout the day… remaining patient even after i lost a ‘proper’ Snook! I would highly recommend Andy -he has a great boat and is a super laid back skipper who made the day feel relaxed and fun throughout. .
I was an Inshore Fishing Captain in Venice Florida for ten years targeting Snook, Redfish and Trout. Captain Andy is one of the best Captains I have fished with. Great equipment, superb knowledge of where the fish were and what they were feeding on. Can't ask for anything better than that! If you are looking for a great fishing experience, book with Captain Andy and the Salty Experience.
My husband, our two teenage boys, and I recently went on the 6-hour trip, and we had a fantastic time. Captain Andy took us to a few special spots that really produced. We ended the trip by catching several bonnethead sharks, which the kids loved reeling in. We even got to take home some fillets from our morning catches. Thank you for a great experience!
