My son and I decided to cancel our Universal tickets and go on this charter fishing trip and wow what a great decision! Captain Andy and crew were amazing, they taught my son quickly how to cast and fish and took us to several great fishing spots. We caught a dozen or so fish. He shared some area history and introduced us to the local dolphin, manatee’s, and we even got to see a sting ray. Overall excellent trip with the amount of money you spend at Universal I will gladly trade that for fishing with Andy instead. Thank you guys both so much for the one of kind experience. Quarter Day Late Afternoon Trip on April 27, 2025

Great captain, great knowledge of the water. My family and I did a short 2-hr fishing charter. Capt. Andy was great company and his explained to my 12-yr old why he uses the love shrimp as bait, the correct way to cast, and why fishing sometimes takes a little patience. My wife and I caught the majority of fish initially. Catfish, silver bass but the trip was for our 12-yr old to experience a true fight on the water and to hopefully reel in a monster. Capt Andy did not disappoint and made sure that happened. The last spot we stopped at, after a tough 5-minute fight, our 12-yr old w/ Capt Andy reeled in a 27” Blackdrum. He had to weigh 25+ lbs. but it was truly an awesome experience and Capt Andy wasn’t coming in until he made sure our son had the big catch of the day. Great vibes. Great company and I would highly recommend Capt Andy and his Salty Adventures to anyone whether it’s a 2hr or 1/2 day or Full Day. The guide you want. I will book him each time I am down in St Pete and want to get out on the water and cast a line.

Quarter Day Late Morning Trip on June 3, 2025

We were all excited about our fishing trip but had no idea how easy, fun, and memorable Captain Andy would make it. The second he arrived, he made us all feel welcome and appreciated. Within seconds we were getting to know him and his interesting life, a master course in fishing, and even a bit of a tour of the area. The time flew by so quickly and everybody got in on the action. Don’t book with anyone else!!!

Half Day Trip (AM) on March 28, 2025

We booked a morning 4 hour trip with Capt Andy. From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and was very eager to get us on fish. Despite the wind and tide, we were still able to catch several species of fish, including Redfish, trout and even a snook! My daughter’s first fishing experience ending with Capt Andy putting her on a 32” snook! I would highly recommend Captain Andy !

Captain Andy was an amazing host. As novice anglers, it always helps to have a knowledgeable, patient and attentive captain, and Andy was all of that and more. Very personable, especially with my 10 year old. Thanks to his expertise, we had fish on the first line, literally within seconds, and the hits kept coming. He even made a little competition out of it to keep the interest and excitement high. My family and I are truly grateful for him taking on our trip with very little notice and cannot recommend him enough. Book with confidence.
