Hello! My name is Captain Dylan, I am a Tampa Bay native, part-time fishing guide, and pilot-in-training! When I am not up in the air, I am out on the water doing what I love most - chasing fish!

I've been fishing the bay, flats, and beaches of Tampa and St. Pete my whole life, but started doing licensed charters last year to help pay my way through pilot school.

When it comes to fishing, my biggest priorities are to have fun, appreciate the outdoors, and enjoy time on the water with the people I'm with. **I take fishing seriously, but if catching a ton of fish or going home with a cooler full of fillets is your biggest priority, I would recommend booking with another captain.**

I've been fishing the bay, flats, and beaches of Tampa and St. Pete my whole life, but started doing licensed charters last year to help pay my way through pilot school.

I fish with my guests the same way I'd fish if I were going out by myself or with friends - every day is different, and every day is a unique challenge and a chance to learn something new about the awesome fishery we have here in Tampa Bay. Whether we catch 5 fish or 50, my goal is to have an enjoyable day on the water and a good time with the people I'm with.

To me, that's the fun of fishing.

Most trips will start by heading out and catching live bait. From there, we will explore a variety of spots depending on what species are around in the season. This could be chasing after snook, trout, and redfish on the flats, fishing for tarpon around the bridges and passes (early summer), or going off the beaches to a nearshore reef.

*PLEASE NOTE - I do NOT keep snook or redfish on my charters. These are prized gamefish in Tampa Bay that I prefer to practice catch and release on. If you are interested in taking a few fish home to eat, there are other species we can target depending on conditions and time of year.

If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to shoot me a message and ask! Thanks, and hope to see you out there!

Will only book with Capt Dylan!
1/2 Day Inshore Fishing on June 4, 20261 adult1 child
We had an incredible trip with Capt. Dylan! From the moment we dropped lines in the water, we were catching fish. Capt. Dylan was friendly, accommodating, and made sure everyone had a great time. What really stood out was how great he was with the kids. He kept them engaged, helped them every step of the way, and made the experience fun and memorable for the whole family. We've been on several fishing charters over the years, and this was hands down the best trip we've ever been on. If you're looking for a captain who works hard, puts you on fish, and makes the day enjoyable for everyone, we can't recommend Capt. Dylan enough. We'll definitely be booking again!

Perfect afternoon fishing with my son.
3hr Beginner Fishing Trip - 1:00 PM on March 25, 20262 adults
This was a great trip from start to finish. Easy location to park and walk right onto the boat. Our guide Dylan already had our fresh bait and took us right out on the water. This was the perfect trip for me and my 13 year old son. We didn’t catch boat loads of fish (still coolers worth) but we caught pretty much all the varieties we wanted to! Dylan knew where to take us and helped us if we got snagged in a tree or if a fish cut the line, he handed us another pole right away. (No waiting around as he was always busy setting us up) We even got to see manatee’s, dolphins and other cool things. I’d highly recommend Dylan’s charter.

Awesome Tampa Inshore Winter Fishing Trip!!! :-)
1/2 Day Inshore Fishing - 1:00 PM on January 23, 20262 adults
Dylan is a great Captain. Nice, clean, well maintained center console boat. We are visiting from Pacfic NW, experienced salmonoid anglers. We were impressed with Dylans knowledge of the local fisheries. We are here, visiting in the off season wrt fishing, and Capt Dylan put us on a number of species on a half day trip: spotted sea trout, red fish, grouper, snooks, and some i cant remember. 6 or more species, great fish. One type even had feathers, and something that resembeled a beak!! Very much appreciate his love of the local fishery, and time he took to explain the protcted species in these beautiful waters. Finished our trip on Tampa Bay with a 'drive-by' of several dolphins, just playing and checking out, as we landed juvenile grouper. We voluntarilarly released most of the beauties back to the waters, but brought home enough fresh catch for a few dinners. Very happy with our trip. Would definately do it again. Book with Dylan if you want an amazing experience on a clean and safe boat! sorry, stupid FishingBooker app will not allow me to add photos to this post. we have many great images.

Great Trip!
Full Day Inshore/Nearshore Fishing on June 5, 20262 adults
Dylan worked so hard to make sure we had a great day, and he came through! Fishing was tough, no fault of Dylan’s, but we did catch and release a nearly 6 foot black tipped shark thanks to Dylan’s skills; the largest fish I have ever caught. My 8-year old daughter had a fantastic time too. I would absolutely fish with Dylan again.

Awesome time with an awesome Captain
1/2 Day Inshore Fishing on December 26, 20252 adults
My wife and I are celebrating our honeymoon and amazingly she agreed to come fish with me, and she’s so glad she did. Cpt Dylan did a fantastic job of tailoring the trip to our needs and ability levels; her being a beginner and myself being an enthusiast. Despite the conditions making the bite tough Cpt Dylan got us on the fish and we had a blast even when we were weren’t catching. I will absolutely be booking again when I’m back in the area, we had an unforgettable time.
