Step on board the classic Rose Brothers 1969 boat, lovingly restored in 2018. Groups of 6 will have plenty of space to wet their lines at the same time. The Rabid Tuna is decked out with full safety and navigational gear, so you can fish with peace of mind. There is a restroom, kitchen, and bed for your comfort.
The species you'll be targeting depend on which trip you choose, but can include Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, and more. You'll also be catching the live bait on the way to the fishing grounds, which won't take too long.
Children over 2 are welcome and will have life vests provided for them. They'll love reeling in their first-ever fish and will have a great story to tell back at school.
All rods and reels are included in the price and are top quality from Penn International. You can also request to go spearfishing. There are 2 spears you can use with prior notice.
The first mate will work hard on your behalf during the day, so don't forget to tip him 15% of the total trip cost at the end of the trip.
You'll need to bring a cooler of food and drinks along for the day – fishing will work up an appetite! Don't forget your sun protection, and you're good to go.

Don't overthink it, book Rabid Tuna on your next trip. We had a great gulf stream trip with Rabid Tuna, we caught black fin, skipjack, mahi and a couple amberjacks. (they tried really hard for wahoo, but no luck) Will and Dave were great, you can tell they are experienced and truly care about catching fish and making sure you have a good time. Music was a great surprise (since we forgot our speaker) and these guys worked hard to get fish on, rods rigged up and were happy to answer questions. Trust the game plan, they know what they are doing, and how to catch fish We will book again without question with Rabid Tuna.

Despite some pretty rough weather conditions, the captain and crew made safety their top priority while still doing everything they could to put us on fish. They were professional, knowledgeable, and kept us informed throughout the trip, which made us feel confident even when the seas got rough. Their hard work paid off—we ended up catching a bunch of tuna, a couple of mahi-mahi, and even a barracuda. It was an incredible experience, and it was clear the crew never stopped working to make sure we had a successful day on the water. I would 100% recommend this charter to anyone looking for a great offshore fishing experience. Thanks again to the captain and crew for an unforgettable trip!

The Rabid Tuna crew was nothing short of awesome. The deckhand, Dave, worked tirelessly every moment to make sure we had our absolute best shot at landing fish. and we did! We filled the cooler with Wahoo, Tuna, and Mahi. Rabid Tuna was next level, and we look forward to using them again for our next angler adventure.
I had an absolutely incredible experience fishing with Captain Tim and First Mate Dave. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and completely dialed in. They put us right on the fish, and thanks to their skill and teamwork, I landed a 72-inch, 215-pound bluefin tuna in just 20 minutes from the fighting chair. The crew worked flawlessly together perfect boat positioning, clear communication, and constant encouragement throughout the fight. It was truly the fish of a lifetime and an absolutely beautiful day on the water. If you’re looking for a top-tier charter with a crew that knows how to get it done, I can’t recommend them enough. I’ll definitely be back!

First of all Captain Will and his mate Dave are great guys and fun to hang out with ! Not to mention they know where to find the big fish ! We slayed fish all day and caught way more than anyone else on the water that day . If you can book these guys you definitely should!

Captain Tim Quigley has been fishing his whole life on the eastern seaboard. It is a family owned and operated business and has been operating out of Hatteras NC for 9 years. Owner Kathleen Quigley, Tims daughter, is currently in her 4th year of studies at UAS, in Juneau AK with a Marine Bio major and working on the water daily. We pride ourselves on many different fishing techniques and fun for the whole family. We are very kid friendly!
