Stellar Charters 

Recommend Stellar Charters as a must. I have been on numerous off shore/deep sea fishing trips throughout the world and this has been one of the best. Cpt Hector got us on the fish within 5 minutes from arriving to fishing grounds. We were a party of 3. Caught well over 60 fish, probably 8 different spiecies and kept 21 fish were kept. This was our second trip with Cpt Hector in 4 days and was totally memorable. A Great Captain who takes care of his patrons.

We had an amazing time fishing with Captain Hector! He was professional, friendly, and worked hard to make sure everyone had a great experience. We caught plenty of fish, learned a lot, and enjoyed every minute on the water. Captain Hector knows all the right spots and made the trip fun from start to finish. Cpt Hector was an excellent choice. A party of 3 and our first time in shore fishing. Caught a few fish, saw numerous dolphin and the area and weather was beautiful. Had fun and will do again.

Boat was ready to depart promptly. On the ride to the fishing grounds we took in the calm morning and the sights. Once we arrived at the fishing site we promptly had fish on our lines and began loading fish on the boat. Had few fish that we could not keep. Spotted a leatherback turtle and a huge shark while we were out. When returning the fish were cleaned up for us and the captain was quick and thorough at cutting them into filets. Marina staff were helpful and friendly as well. A short ride from there had us at a restaurant that cooked our fish for us. Terrific experience aside from possibly having a bit too much fish to eat for dinner... 😂

All I can say is WOW!!!! Our trip with Hector was amazing!!! He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and just all around a great human being. I can not say enough great things about our experience on the water with Stellar Charters. A couple of us even got a little sea sick and Hector was very helpful with doing what needed to be done on the boat to get us back to feeling better and continue fishing. We caught close to 50 total fish and had some really good keepers to bring home. A collection of Barracuda, flounder, two types of grunt, and sailor’s choice. And the hospitality continued after the charter, with Hector cleaning and preparing our fish for us to take home and enjoy. All we had to worry about was getting home fast enough to cook up some fish tacos. I highly recommend Stellar Charters for anyone looking for a great experience at a phenomenal price. We got to the marina early, so Capt Hector got us going towards the fishing ground early! It was a little over an hour to get there, but my wife caught that first triggerfish within 30 seconds of putting the line in the water. The bite was on the entire time, despite Hector's insistence that it would slow down between 1130-1230. We even got a visit from a large (13 foot easy) hammerhead shark! Lots of fish and Hector was quick to replace bait and hooks when necessary so there was no down time. He was also full of useful information about the area. I can't recommend Captain Hector highly enough!

My husband and I booked the 5 hour off shore trip. We had a great time even though Mother Nature had different plans for us. We didn’t get to go out as far as Hector wanted for safety reasons but we still caught a lot of fish and got to watch an amazing lightning and thunder storm. Hector was an entertaining boat captain with great stories and conversation the whole trip. We recommend him to anyone looking for a day filled with fishing and great company. When we come back we will book with Hector again because we know he did everything he could to make our day great and he put our families safety first!!

Our family of 4 had never fished before and the fishing trip with Hector has been such a fun time for us. Hector took us to a place where a lot of boats were sunked to create artificial reefs. There are so many fishes. There are always fish bites within 30 seconds bait reaching seafloor. We caught one big barracuda, two black sea bass and many other fishes. We saw dolphin, sea turtles, Kelley fish. We even saw blue crab swimming at the surface eating jelly fish! Hector is very friendly and he continuously fixing bait for us. He put the catches we want to take home in the ice chest and cleaned fishes for us on the dock. Thanks Hector and I am sure we will be back again.

Had a great time fishing with Captain Hector. He was very knowledgeable and he has a great personality. I highly recommend him to anyone that wants to take their family fishing. I hope to have the opportunity to fish with him again someday!

We had an amazing time out fishing today for my son’s 4th birthday. We caught a lot of sharks, sting rays and even a puffer fish. Beautiful weather! We even had a huge stingray on the line at the end. Captain Hector and first mate were so helpful, patient and attentive. First rate and first class! Thank you for everything! Second to none.
