Ucluelet, BC, where the charter is based, has an abundance of bait, such as squid, herring, and anchovies, which creates terrific conditions for the Salmon and bottom fish population. You’ll be able to catch Chinook, Coho, Pink, and Sockeye Salmon by trolling, or go jigging for Lingcod and Halibut.

A proven West Coast design, the captain’s 23’ Boston Whaler Conquest provides a comfortable ride for everyone on board. The boat has a high gunnel, which is perfect for offshore trolling or cruising among the islets of Barkley Sound. She’s fully equipped with navigation and safety gear, as well as an onboard toilet. The boat accommodates up to 3 guests.

Kids of all ages are welcome on half-day trips since you’ll stay along the coastline. For full-day trips, they need to be at least 10 years old, since the trips are longer and you’ll go up to 20 miles offshore.

Your fishing equipment, lures, and bait are included in the price. If you want to keep the catch, the captain will clean it after the trip for no extra charge. You only need to purchase your fishing license and bring snacks and drinks for the day.
