Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Trout, Blacktip Shark, Cobia, Black Seabass, Ladyfish, Hammerhead Shark, Spanish Mackerel, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. On these trips, you can expect to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Capt. Craig runs a 26’ Glacier Bay Catamaran that holds up to 6 passengers. It is spacious with plenty of storage for bags and room for a cooler if you wish to bring one. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It’s never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be water and ice included. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, and please no glass bottles.

4 Hour Afternoon
Captain Craig is great with kids.
We went out with Captain Craig for an afternoon of dragging sharks (and several other species) out of the water. Most of our party of 5 were fishing for the first time. Not only did Craig put us on to fish, he actually taught us HOW to fish. His boat is super comfortable, and it does a great job on the water. I’ve fished with a lot of charter outfits over the years, and I recommend Capt. Craig above them all. Especially if you are bringing kids.

4 Hour Afternoon
Great trip! Caught a lot of fish!
We stared out targeting edible species and quickly got on to some Spanish Mackerel which were delicious. After catching enough for dinner, we decided to change targets for sport fish. After only a half hour of quiet Craig was able to find a school of Crevalle Jack, of which we were able to hook and catch 3. With 21 Mackerel and 3 Jack in 4 hours, it was a super effective and exciting trip. Craig explained the equipment well and all 6 of us were working and catching fish very quickly. Craig clearly knew the area and local species well in order to locate fish very effectively.

4 Hour Morning
Gone Fishing is amazing!
Had a great experience with my two sons, 34 & 8 (yes, you read that right). Captain Craig moved between the more experienced older and the novice younger with ease. It was my youngest's first time on the water and he can't wait to go back. I will absolutely book Captain Craig again. Amazing Captain, great time, and the most kid friendly fishing charter I've ever been on.

5 Hour Morning
Great morning of fishing
Caption Craig is fantastic at locating fish. Even though the conditions were not ideal he put us on some Spanish Mackerel right away and we caught a bunch. Waves continued to get bigger so we went inland and caught a lot of Shark. Right at the end we needed up catching a Spinner Shark that was 56” and had a lot of fight in it. It took about 6 minutes to reel it into the boat. Caption Craig cut up the Mackerel catch in filets and Shark into steaks. We had a feast that night. Fantastic time on the trip!

3 Hour Shark Fishing Evening
Great trip!
Wonderful trip! -Captain Craig was the best! Took our family of 5-mostly first timers-caught several sharks including a 5-footer! Saw tons of dolphins and a few eagles! Craig was great with the kids and taught us a ton about the wildlife. He worked hard to make our trip great and it is much appreciated. 10/10 would recommend!
