Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Trout, Blacktip Shark, Cobia, Black Seabass, Ladyfish, Hammerhead Shark, Spanish Mackerel, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. On these trips, you can expect to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Craig runs a 26’ Glacier Bay Catamaran that holds up to 6 passengers. It is spacious with plenty of storage for bags and room for a cooler if you wish to bring one. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It’s never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be water and ice included. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, and please no glass bottles.

Amazing Trip
3 Hour Shark Fishing Evening on September 1, 20254 adults2 children
We booked with Captain Craig to take our 7 and 5 year old shark fishing. They had the best time and can not stop talking about it. Captain Craig and his helper Lucas were so great with the kids and really took the time to teach them, and us adults, what they were doing. On our way out, they stopped and showed the kids how they catch their bait. While doing that, a dolphin swam up and was hanging out by the boat. We got out there and first hooked a 6 foot bull shark. They were amazing with helping my 7 year old and his dad reel him in until he snapped the line 10 feet from the boat. We moved after that and ended up catching a few fine tooth sharks and stingray before we had to head back in. It was definitely an awesome trip and the kids haven't stopped talking about it!

Amazing day on the water & Family Friendly
4 Hour Morning on August 13, 20252 adults1 child
Captain Craig and Lucas were amazing! We took our daughter, who is under 3, and we had a great morning trip!!! Captain Craig was so great with our daughter and put my husband on a lot of fish. This was my birthday gift to my husband, so I played interference and let him fish the entire time. We caught a Bull Shark, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Sea Bass, Whiting, Blue Fish, Black Drum, Weakfish, and Croakers! We chose to keep a few fish to cook for dinner and threw the rest back! They cleaned our fish and labeled them for us. I cannot recommend Captain Craig enough if you have kids! He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and an overall great guy!

Great trip! Caught a lot of fish!
4 Hour Afternoon on June 26, 20256 adults
We stared out targeting edible species and quickly got on to some Spanish Mackerel which were delicious. After catching enough for dinner, we decided to change targets for sport fish. After only a half hour of quiet Craig was able to find a school of Crevalle Jack, of which we were able to hook and catch 3. With 21 Mackerel and 3 Jack in 4 hours, it was a super effective and exciting trip. Craig explained the equipment well and all 6 of us were working and catching fish very quickly. Craig clearly knew the area and local species well in order to locate fish very effectively.

Captain Craig is great with kids.
4 Hour Afternoon on July 15, 20253 adults2 children
We went out with Captain Craig for an afternoon of dragging sharks (and several other species) out of the water. Most of our party of 5 were fishing for the first time. Not only did Craig put us on to fish, he actually taught us HOW to fish. His boat is super comfortable, and it does a great job on the water. I’ve fished with a lot of charter outfits over the years, and I recommend Capt. Craig above them all. Especially if you are bringing kids.

Capt Ryan knows where the fish are hiding!
4 Hour Morning on December 26, 20245 adults1 child
It was a cold, drizzly, late-December morning. Capt Ryan gave our 8-80 years old group the option to delay or cancel, saying conditions were less than optimal, with a chilly breeze and fish not exactly looking to feed. But our time was limited, and our interest could not be deterred. He took us to a sheltered spot and pointed out where the water was a little deeper and perhaps a little less chilly. Sure enough, there must have been a flock of Sheepshead down there, which we proceeded to fleece, along with a couple other randos. We went with low expectations due to time of year and temperature but went away with smiles and a desire to come back in warm temps and have Capt Ryan get us out a little further and see what we could catch when everything is a little more active. We had a great time. Thanks Capt Ryan!
