From hard-fighting King Mackerel and Kob to Musselcracker, Snapper, Grunter, and Cod, the local waters are packed with species ready to test your skill. Whether you're into bottom fishing or line casting, every trip promises action and adventure.
All your rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided — just bring your valid fishing license, a few snacks and drinks, and your spirit for adventure. After your trip, you're welcome to clean and fillet your catch at our facilities so it's ready for the braai!
Kids aged 7 and up are welcome, making this a perfect family day out. Trips run for 5.5 hours.

The contact with the operator Tour South Africa was somewhat complicated. First, we were told to pay the remaining amount online, even though the booking stated that you can also pay the amount in cash to the Captain in dollars. We only found out at 10 PM that we would be starting at 5 AM the next morning. The fishing itself was very good, we caught a box full of hake and some bycatch like shark and gurnard. Top notch for us. A big compliment again to Mabel, I've never seen such a hardworking girl on board.

Great day out on the deep see at Knysna with captain Nick. Hugely successful trolling catches and some great bottom fishing. The captain's daughter Mabel was a real trooper and helped everyone with the bait and tackle. Nick also did a great demonstration on how to filet the fish after the trip. Great team and highly recommended!
We had a great day with Capt. Niekie and Maybel they took great care with us and tried their best to get us a catch, despite the bad weather. Big thanks!

We've spent the last 2 decades taking out anglers from all parts of the world, and in that time we've established our good name and reputation. Our crew has ample experience in deep sea fishing and putting people on the bite, so good times on the water are guaranteed.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
What the listing policies are
Pickup not included
Transfer to/from departure site is not included in trip rates.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:

When paying the remaining balance with a credit card, an additional 3.5% charge will apply.
