Explore the enchanting Garden Route with Lagoon Fishing Knysna. This crew has been guiding trips in this area for over 20 years. They easily adjust the trip to both novice anglers and experienced fishermen. They know where the fish are, how they move, and what’s the best way to catch them. Needless to say, fishing with them always brings lots of action on the water.
You’ll be fishing on a 25’ Barge that accommodates up to 5 guests. The boat is powered by a 200 HP Commercial engine and features modern navigational electronics and safety gear. Reliable and fast, this boat will bring you to your fishing spot with ease and precision. Enjoy the ride and then get ready for some fishing action.
Your main targets on this trip will be Ray, Cod, Leerfish, Shad, Grunter, and Musselcracker. The best ways to go after them are using bottom fishing and light tackle. If you’re not familiar with these techniques, now is a great time to master them. The crew will show you everything you need to know.
All fishing equipment is covered by the crew. Make sure to purchase your fishing license and pack some food and drinks for the day. Please don’t bring alcoholic beverages. You'll be practicing catch and release.

Well organised trip with Captain Johan , sadly fish not over cooperative ,but that's fishing for you . Only difficulty i found was making final payment and this wretched load shedding in SA ,that was ruining their computer servers, so couldn't always make contact on booking arrangements , Otherwise interesting trip onKnysna Lagoon Thank you .

Excellent family trip; Johann and Quentin were very patient with all the family and took time to instruct, support and educate as all while keeping things fun and enjoyable. We were all novices and so needed lots of hand holding. Excellent trip in absolutely stunning surroundings. Would definitely recommend to all and will be back again. The bonus was the restaurant recommendation which was also phenomenal.
