Your boat for the day is a 30' Cherokee offshore sportfisher, powered by twin 300 HP Crusader engines. The captain's vessel comes with everything you need for a successful day on the water, including state-of-the-art navigational electronics, fishing tackle, outriggers, and downriggers. She accommodates up to 6 guests and children of all ages are welcome aboard.
Your main target species are Rainbow Trout and Walleye. The captain offers a range of techniques on his trips. His main methods for catching fish are trolling and drifting, but you can mix it up with some bottom fishing, spinning, and jigging as well.
You'll be supplied with top-quality rods and reels, as well as artificial lures and live bait. Just be sure to purchase your fishing license before the trip, bring snacks and drinks, and pack extra layers of clothing.

We took the whole family on a charter with Special -Eyes Charters. The three children range in age between 7 and 14. What an absolutely great time we all had!! The boat and crew are very child friendly! We laughed until we cried, the memories we made will be with us forever! What a great set up Special Eyes has. All we did was show up and they did the rest, from putting us on fish, educating us on the fish we caught and techniques we used to sending us home with bags and bags full of delicious fillets!! The kids have not stopped talking about our trip and we all cant wait to go again. Thank you very much for a Special Eyes day with the family!!!

We all have over 30 years of experience, fishing the Walleye Capital of the World, Lake Erie. We take a great deal of pride in showing our customers a fun, memorable, and educational day on the water. All captains are USCG-licensed and have their Ohio Guides Licenses as well. The captains are Dale Grimm (Special-Eyes 1), Ron Bradway (Special-Eyes 2), Dan Hrabak (Special-Eyes 3), and Bob Balli (Special-Eyes 4). You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
