Beaver’s Guide Service is a small and successful fishing charter. It’s owned by Bobby Beaver, a lifelong local with tons of knowledge of fishing in the surrounding area. Your captain specializes in many different trips, from backwater bay to Snapper fishing in the Gulf. He can do anything when it comes to catching fish, you just need to tell him what’s your skill level and how you imagined your day out.

Santa Rosa Beach is the main departure point but this depends on the trip you take. You’ll board a 22’ Cape Horn that accommodates up to 5 guests. This center console is powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine, navigational equipment that will help you find the schools of fish, and a live bait tank.

Take a trip in the bay and you can target Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, and Redfish. Nearshore waters hold lots of Mangrove Snapper.

While some trips are more suitable for experienced anglers, Capt. Bobby encourages you to bring your family along and let him teach the kids how to fish! It will be fun and educational, all at once.

He’ll cover your fishing license, equipment, and clean your catch. You only need to bring some snacks and drinks for the day.

Had a fantastic time too to bottom - Cap was knowledgeable and easy going, super fun to hangout with. My father-in-law and I had time to duck out of family vacation for a couple hours and wouldn’t have wanted to spend anywhere else. Pulled in a Bull Red about 20-minutes into the trip that set the tone. Highly recommend this team if you’re ever in the area and look forward to another trip out asap. (If you could send me the picture of us with that Red, I’d greatly appreciate it - until next time, cheers!)

We had an amazing time with Alex as our guide! Everything was perfectly prepared and it was by far the easiest and smoothest fishing trip we’ve ever been on. Alex took us to multiple spots in search of trout and redfish—and we caught both! He’s a true professional who clearly knows what he’s doing. Slow fishing but he worked hard to find us some fish. We had to move our scheduled time up because of impending weather so we fished the middle of the afternoon. Caught about a dozen. Took my 3 young kids. He was patient with them, baited their lines and casted for them. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. We will definitely book with him the next time we are here.

Great Day on the Bay!

Beautiful weather and day for fishing. Great day of fishing bringing in our limit on trout which we pan fried w cornmeal batter for some evening tacos. Also caught redfish and catfish. Our guide was amazing, personable, super skilled, patient and right on time. He did a great job filleting our fish for our travels.
