The lower Columbia & Ocean are loaded with some salmon returns. Northwest Fishing Adventures will take you out on either river for a high-quality fishing experience.

They have a 2023 'Alumaweld Columbia fishing boat that is perfect for these waters. The vessel is powered by a 150 HP Mercury engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 31 knots. The 23' craft is big enough to fit you along with 5 other anglers for a fun-filled day on the water.

Summer & Fall Chinook Salmon, as well as Coho are the species that you'll go after alongside your guide, Herman Fleishman. His experience of the river here is second to none and he knows just the right spots to make this a truly successful fishing trip.

He'll provide you with both light and heavy fishing tackle to get the job done. Okuma reels and Lamigrass rods are the brands that he trusts the most to make your day a success. When the trip is over he'll clean your catches for you as part of the price.

Book your fishing permit online before the trip, and bring some refreshments. Get ready to enjoy an adventure of a lifetime on Oregon's finest rivers and reel in some of the best freshwater fish in the world.

Captain Herman is an animal!

We fished for two days. One day was fair weather, the next was not fit for man nor beast but Captain Herman took us out because we wanted to fish!! We did catch fish and he kept us out until we threw in the towel! He is definitely committed to his clients success! He is one tough Captain!

We had a great time with Captain Herman. He was very knowledgeable and put us on fish almost immediately. He knew where to find them when the bite slowed and kept us engaged the entire charter. I will definitely be booking with him the next time I am in town.

Captain Hermann was great and was able to fit the three of us into a Salmon fishing adventure in short notice that have given my two sons and I memories that will last forever. We caught lots of fish. We will definitely do this again.
