Very knowledgeable, experienced, and skilled captain, has lived in the area all his life. Tackle appropriate, in good condition, and very well organized. Nice boat, well appointed and set up, comfortable and perfect for the type of fishing we were doing. It only took a short time for us to catch bait and for the captain to put us on fish. Great trip, exceeded my expectations! We were blessed with wonderful weather, light winds, and friendly tide. We caught five big stripers, 4 over 36” and two of those over 40”. Anyone who fishes much knows you have good days and bad days, regardless of the skill of the captain, but this was a great day, and I attribute much of that to his preparation, skill, and experience. Fun to be with, and an added bonus of learning lots about the area and its history. Five Stars!

We all had a great time with an experienced second generation fisherman. (Captain Rob) A Knowledgeable first mate (Joe ) , the crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. Glad to have had the opportunity to share a day fishing. we would definitely book again . and of course beginners luck award went to my wife for the largest fish of the day!!

Rob and his wife were absolutely amazing. We caught 2 keepers and threw back 7 huge bass. They were wonderful with my 9 year old son and even let him drive the boat. My son said it was the best day ever! I have already recommended to my best friend and we will definitely be booking again.

I booked the trip for my husband and Father-in-Law for Father’s Day. This is my husband’s review ➡️ Captain Rob and Jay were great. They had a solid game plan with contingency plans in case something didn’t work out. They knew where the fish were and kept us over them which ensured we were able to catch fish. My father and I had a blast!

Incredible day in Gloucester with Captain Rob & Kim - super knowledgeable, personable and made for a memorable day fishing for bait (mackerel) and striped bass. Boat was very comfortable, clean and easily accommodated our group of 3. Captain Rob & Kim are local to the area with in depth knowledge of Gloucester, Cape Ann and great spots for inshore fishing. Highly recommend booking them for your next fishing charter - best out there on the north shore! We can’t wait to go again.

My husband and I took our 17yo son on a half-day fishing trip with Captain Rob and his wife, Kim. It was absolutely beautiful. Would 1,000% recommend this experience to anyone considering a fishing trip. The boat was pristine. Captain Rob & Kim were super knowledgable about the area. Breathtaking views. It was an amazing day out on the water with Captain Rob and his wife Kim! They were absolutely amazing with my 10 year old twins, being patient and showing them all the steps to be successful while fishing. My husband was over moon with the fish we caught! We caught 3 striped bass (1 keeper!), 1 pollock, 1 cod (Required to be released!) ...and several Mackerel for bait fish. Surprisingly the bait fish were very elusive, but Capt Rob kept trying his well trusted spots until we had enough bait fish. We left with several filets that made for a delicious fish fry During! During the journey, Capt. Rob and Kim were so friendly and welcoming, always sharing their knowledge of the area including landmarks, beaches, and many local stories which made the time fly. With planning, communication, and logistics being so easy from start to finish I would definitely charter another trip with them!

Rob and his wife Kim are great host. This was my grandson’s first trip Fishing in the bay. Although Fishing was slow that day, my grandson did manage to catch a large blue and will remember that Fish for the rest of his life. Thanks again to the captain and the first mate.

Rob and Jim are excellent captains! We had a group of four and had a blast fishing and just hanging out and talking. Beautiful, well-maintained, boat! Even the task of catching mackerel for bait was fun! First drift pass and we all had a full rod of bait. Extremely professional and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them to anybody that’s looking for a great fishing trip out of Cape Ann! Book a trip!

Great trip! Beautiful clean boat. Me and my son got to catch the bait fish and then caught some keepers. They definitely knew where all the fish were. I wanted my son to have a great experience before he ships out for the Marine Corps tomorrow. Thank you Rob & Kim for coming through, we had an awesome time.
