Soak in the Texas sun in the abundant inshore waters of Port Isabel by joining Reel Therapy Charter Service! Captain Jamie de la Fuente has fished these waters for over 20 years and knows where the fish are no matter the season.
Capt. Jamie will take you out on his 25' Dargel Boatworks flats boat built in 2016. This brand new beauty is powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine, meaning you will not waste any time getting to the most productive waters. It can take out up to 5 anglers, so it's ideal for a friends and family day.
All the fishing equipment will be ready for you on board, as well as a range of artificial lures. After the trip, the captain will clean and fillet your catch so you can take it home for a delicious meal or to fill the freezer.
The Laguna Madre area is brimming with life, and you'll find that there's a variety of species that call these waters their home. You can expect to come face-to-gill with some of the most prized fish like Redfish, Trout, and Flounder. You can also catch Black Drum occasionally.
Make sure to have a valid fishing license, and bring some food and drinks for your refreshment. Don't forget to bring some sun protection as well, so you can relax and fully enjoy your day.

It was our first trip in South Padre and it did not disappoint!! Jaime is a great guide and was great in the boat! He worked hard for us and I can’t wait to be back fishing with him. I would definitely recommend spending the day fishing with him and I am sure you will catch plenty of fish!!
Capt Jaime is fantastic and a great teacher. We caught a bunch of fish. Would recommend to anyone.

Jaime was Excellent! it just wasn’t our day…. We didn’t find a lot of fish, but Kudos for Jaime… great effort and service
I would highly recommend Capt Jaime De la Fuente. He has a nice set up with a well equipped, spacious boat and great equipment to fish with. He is Very knowledgeable and puts you on the fish. I took my wife and two boys (11 and 13) on what was their first fishing trip. Capt Jaime was very patient and helpful with them. They tangled their lines together - a dozen times, popped Their lines another half dozen times and Bent a couple hooks. All the while, Jaime would remain calm and helpful, and would keep teaching them. We finished the morning reeling in 18 full size trout. Great haul of fish given our experience level - thanks to Capt Jaime.
