Enjoy a beautiful day on Lake Lanier cranking in one of Georgia’s most sought after game fish, Striped Bass! These Stripers fight hard and are excellent on the table. Big Bite Charters is here to help you catch them! Captain Andrew will teach you the best ways to go after your trophy and catch fish more easily on any future day of fishing.
Captain Andrew’s quick 24’ Blazer Bay boat is equipped with the latest Hummingbird, Minn Kota, and Power Pole technology to constantly keep you on the bite. The boat is powered by a 300 HP Mercury engine that will take you to your fishing spot in no time.
Striped Bass is the start of the show but it’s not your only target. You can also go after Spotted Bass and compare the action you get from these targets. Try out different techniques and see which one brings the most success.
All the fishing equipment, bait, lures, rods/reels, tackle, and coolers of ice is provided free of charge. The only thing you need to bring is your food/drinks for the day and a GA fishing license. You may also request a pickup by boat anywhere on the lake as long as it’s within a reasonable distance from the fishing grounds.

My wife and I booked a trip with Big Bite Charters and Captain Andrew Hammond to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. We have been on several charter fishing trips in the past but this one was ABSOLUTELY the best we have ever been on.
The trip started off good with the captain being at the dock early and ready to get to work. As with any Striper fishing trip we spent a few minutes tracking them down as they always roam around during the night but in no time Captain Andrew found them and had our rods in the water. Let the fun begin!
I can't give enough praise for Capt. Andrew. He worked tirelessly keeping our rods baited and in the water for the entire trip. His knowledge, skill and experience is incredible. We not only had a great time catching fish but also an enjoyable, informative, and absolutely delightful time. His equipment is outstanding, clean and well maintained.
SO... if you are looking for a awesome charter Big Bite Charters with Captain Andrew Hammond is the one to choose.
