Come fish with Magnanimous Sportfishing Charters and explore Cape Cod Bay. You'll be alongside Captain Mark, who's been fishing this bay for years. He started as a kid with his dad and realized what he wanted to do for a living. Capt. Mark followed his passion and became a professional guide. Both novice anglers and experienced fishermen are welcome to join. Capt. Mark will show new anglers how to use the equipment, while skilled ones can come to level up their game.
You'll be fishing on a 26' Sailfish boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This center console is powered by twin 150 HP Yamaha engines and can reach the speed of 30 knots. The shorter the traveling time, the longer you'll catch fish. The boat features a private toilet, Simrad navigational electronics, a live bait tank, and a cooler.
You'll go after Striped Bass and Bluefish using different fishing techniques, such as trolling with wire or lead core line, spinning with Penn reels, or jigging.
All fishing equipment you'll need for the day is covered by the captain. He'll also cover your fishing licenses and soft drinks. After the trip, if you'd like to take a bite of your catch, Capt. Mark will clean and bag your catch, so it will be ready for the frying pan as soon as you leave the boat. You only need to pack some snacks and you're ready to go.

Short review: It was AWESOME and so much better than expected. Long Review: Booked a four-hour trip (8 a.m. to noon, 08/05/2026) on Magnanimous for myself, my son and two grandsons (ages 9 and 12). Fortunately, it was a beautiful day with clear skies, light winds and plenty of sunshine. My grandsons have never been on a trip like this and were really looking forward to catching “big fish” (something bigger than the trout and largemouth bass they were used to). And WOW, did the Magnanimous deliver! I have been on a number of charter fishing trips and I have to admit, this trip with Capt. Mark Haley and mate Casey far exceeded my expectations. The boat, a 26’ center console, was very clean and well equipped. The friendliness, the smiles and the patience the captain and mate displayed, especially with the boys, was incredible and greatly appreciated. And as for catching fish… they were all striped bass. We had to throw a few back in because they were either too larger or too small than regulations allowed. We did catch our limit of “keepers” (six fish) and had to throw one back in because it was more than we were allowed to keep. We had a great time and highly recommend fishing on the Magnanimous.
Went out with Mark this past Wednesday 8/19 with our family of 5. Mark was a great captain, his boat was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for all of us. Mark brought us to the perfect spot where we were able to reel in 4 striped bass, 2 of which were very nice sized keepers. Mark fileted one of them for us at the dock (we chose to keep the other whole) and provided ice to keep them fresh. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic communication from the moment we booked through the end of the trip. My kids aged 15 through 9 all had an incredible experience. Captain Mark knows the area well and took great care of us. Best of all, we caught two large striped bass, which was a highlight we will not forget! Highly recommend!
