great experience. captain Tim was fantastic with our kids. explaining everything and helping them with bait and taking off fish. it was quanitity over size because it was the first time for our 9, 7 and 4 year old. great day.

Captain Tim was awesome! We did not have the wind on our side and the forecast just didn’t happen the way it was supposed to. Captain Tim still put us on fish. The kids had a blast, we all had great conversation, it was just a great trip. We will be booking with him again.

Less than an hour on our spot, as other captains on radio were bailing out, Cap’n Tim and Mate Jeff had my 13yo fighting our 3rd meaty King, 2 already in the box. The 3rd King was reluctant to be caught and my kid fell out fighting the fish first to heat then sickness. 2hrs into a 6hr charter I knew the day was over. Cap’n Tim and Jeff responded with kindness and empathy. After my son fed the fish and slightly recovered Mate Jeff tried to distract him by teaching my boy to tie knots. But the day was done. End of day the 3 Kings gave us enough meat that we could share with neighbors. My son blew past the negatives and has been tying rigs with the knots Jeff taught him and putting them in bags just like Cap’n Tim. Not the way we drew it up, but success is measured in different ways. Had I been with my buddies, or my son on a different day, Ive no doubt Cap’n Tim could fill those fish boxes to the brim.

Today was unbelievably fun! Tim and Chris were absolutely phenomenal hosts! Their experience was obvious. They put us on the fish and we could not have asked for a better experience. I will tell you right now that ANY time I’m on the Florida or Georgia coastline, I’ll be taking time aside to go fishing with these guys. It’s a can’t miss. Our first offshore fishing trip, we caught a mixed bag which inlcuded bites from Kingfish, Cobia, Cuda’s, and 10ft bullsharks. The trip ended on a high note with a double hook up. I fought a kingfish from the back of the boat, and my son, Myles, reeled in a 32lb Cobia from the front. It was a great trip on a great boat! Just down the street there is a great food spot that the guys recommended. We took some of our catch and we made a meal of it.

Both Tim and Flynn gave our group outstanding service. They are both extremely professional and all you need to do is step on the boat to see for yourself. As soon as we departed they made time to go over the boat and safety. I can’t begin to tell you how many charter boats I’ve used that didn’t even tell me where the life jackets where. Tim keeps his boat nice and clean and you can tell he truly enjoys what he is doing. Tim and Flynn were extremely helpful making sure everyone knew how to use the gear and kept up with making sure hooks were always tied and always baited. Also helped reel when we got tired. I can’t say enough nice things about this charter experience. Looking forward to booking my next charter. 12hr trip next time!!!! Travis Z

Catch a lot fish but I got sea sick gotta head back 🤣 but I goo again next time

Had such a great experience fishing with Tim and Flynn. The boat and the riggs were top notch and got us out to the Gulf Stream quickly. Captain Tim and First mate Flynn are extremely knowledgeable and shared a ton of their knowledge and experience with us all day. They are friendly as can be and were great conversation all day. When the trolling bite got quite later in the day, they put us on the bottom and we limited out on snapper. Couldn’t ask for a better experience, book with Hoodoo, you won’t regret it. I’ll be back for sure.

This was my annual deep sea fishing trip. It was one of the best ever. Capt Chris was fantastic. He really knows his stuff. We started catching fish as soon as we got to the area. The bean bag chairs to sit on while going out and coming back were great. Very unique. Will definitely book again with Hoodoo Charters

First of all Captain Tim and Chris were absolutely fantastic to spend 6hrs with on the water. They treated me and my family extremely well and the boat was fantastic! I would highly recommend anyone who wants an enjoyable day on the water to use Captain Tim/Hoodoo Fishing Charter. I plan on using them again in the near future for a full day trip on the water. If you want the best time for your money this is the charter to take!

Incredible day of fishing with Captain Tim and first mate Jeff! First class experience and definitely one of the best days on the water we could have asked for. The Hoodoo rides like a dream and had plenty of room for 5 anglers to freely move around the boat, even when we had fish on multiple lines at the same time. Tim and Jeff were both stand-up guys and we're able to put us on fish fast and keep us on them all day long. Another huge thank you to Jeff Lentz for being an awesome first mate and doing a great job cleaning the huge haul of fish we landed. I highly recommend chartering with Capt Tim and will definitely reach out to these guys again next time I'm in the Jacksonville area!!
