Hoping to cast a line in Amelia Island/ Fernandina Beach? Look no further than Amelia Island Sport Fishing!

These waters are known for Redfish, Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Wahoo, Sailfish, Amberjack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Flounder, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Tarpon, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Your vessel for the day is a 29' Glacier Bay center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Amelia Island Sport Fishing.

Amazing bachelor party trip
6 Hour Trip – Offshore on July 16, 20254 adults

Capt. Billy was amazing. He knew exactly where to go immediately to catch some live bait. And took us to the jetties and instantly started to get bites. It was pretty choppy out that day but he made it comfortable for us and got us within the strike zone. Then after fishing that spot we headed a couple miles off shore and went shark fishing. Honestly it was the most fun I’ve had fishing ever he knew exactly where the sharks were and within seconds he had one hooked. Fortunately he was able to get all 4 of us a really good size shark and it will definitely live in our memories forever. Between cracking jokes and teaching us how to fish overall it was an experience I would recommend to everyone. By far the best fishing trip I’ve done and will definitely be coming back. And he was kind enough to fillet the shark that we caught and the flounder and trout.

Best Fishing Charter ever!!
4 Hour Trip – Jetty (AM) on December 27, 20252 adults

I scheduled this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and son-in- law who were visiting from Boston where they have been on many charters. They said this was the best charter they ever went on. They raved about Captain Billy- they had a blast catching red snappers ( that they couldn’t keep but made for great photos) and black bass that was cooked for dinner. Thank you, thank you for making me look great as a brilliant gift giver!
