Come on aboard with Capt. Kenny, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing and trolling, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 10-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Redfish, Black Drum, Cobia, King Mackerel, Sheepshead, and Snapper, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 33' Contender boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a toilet and ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. It's up to you to use it as best you can. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated.

He gave us coaching on how to get the fish in the boat. He showed great patience with my grand sons and taught them about the boat and its equipment as well as how to reel the fish in. This was a fantasic experience for them. He went out of his was to make sure they had a great time. I wholeheartly recommend Crawfish Charters.

Full Day Trip – Offshore on September 8, 2023 • 4 adultsFull day trip Went amazing with Captain Kenny and his Mate Gavin. It took us a while to get out due to inclement weather but even the weather tossing the boat was a memory we will always cherish. We were stuck in one spot for a while and had to endure a bit of rain as we got tossed about making one of our party a bit sea sick yet we refused to yield. The crew caught bait fish as we reeled in barracudas for a while. The captain was worried we would be disappointed if we couldn't head out but we all enjoyed just being on the trip. Once we were able to relocate from our first location which was late in our trip it didn't take long for us to snag a grand prize: a large Sailfish. A beauty to be sure. Couldn't keep it. Captain said we would get ran out of town if we did but we grabbed some great pictures and let it go. It took us all about 20mins to get it into the boat which included allowing it to get away from a shark trying to steal it away from us. We still managed to claim it as ours and took home something new for dinner while having a great time led by our captain. All in all a great trip despite the challenges. I do reccomend.

Full Day Trip – Offshore on July 3, 2023 • 6 adultsWe had an awesome time with Captain Kenny and his first mate. Absolute professionals from the start. He put us on fish immediately and we actually left them biting. He was very informative. We loved the camaraderie he had with other charter captains and them sharing advice with each other. We’re from south ga and he fit right in with us. He’s a great guy and I highly recommend him. There was 6 of us and we all caught several fish a piece.

Morning Trip With Captain Kenny!
5 Hour Offshore on August 1, 2023 • 6 adultsCaptain Kenny of the Crawfish Charters was an absolute blast! He was so friendly and hospitable. He definitely knew the waters of Amelia like the back of his hand! During our time, we caught cobia, king mackerel, and red snapper! It was so fun and exciting! We definitely plan to return and fish with him again! This was the highlight of our trip!

3 generations of us guys out with Capt. Kenny having a fantastic day! Had some crazy fights and lots of tasty dinner to take home. Capt. Kenny was a pleasure to fish with and his lifetime experience shows tremendously. He hunted constantly to find fish when things were slow, and wasted no time getting us back in the water when we were cut off. Hard working is an understatement. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good, easy going guy looking to get on some fish. We will be back very soon!

I grew up fishing these local waters with my dad and began commercial fishing in 1977 for redfish and king mackerel. I started tournament fishing for king mackerel in 1981 and came in 2nd place in the inaugural Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament that year. I began fishing the SKA Professional circuit in 2001 and have been very blessed since then winning 16 sanctioned tournaments and were the 2021 National Champion.
