Great Trip
3 Hour Trip – Inlet/Jetty on August 22, 20265 adults

We had a great trip for novice fisherwomen with David. My daughter came for a visit with 2 of her friends and her boyfriend so we spent a morning doing an inshore fishing trip. David knew the sweet spots snd was a very patient teacher with the young women. We caught plenty of fish which we enjoyed for lunch at the Salty Pelican (fish tacos!!). David was very knowledgeable and personable, a Fernandina area native, and it is obvious he loves what he does. We hope to use him for some private instruction in the future. Very well maintained, organized, and clean boat. Highly recommend D&R Charters.

Exceeded our expectations!
5 Hour Trip – Offshore on July 7, 20264 adults

The boat and equipment lacked nothing…..was everything we needed. Super clean too. Capt. David was the nicest guy and a first class act! Very impressive young man and fishing captain. Knew exactly where to take us to catch fish and great instructional coach for first timers and those of us who were seasoned still learned some things from him. Can’t wait to book with him again next time. Score - 100%

We caught so many we lost count! Everyone including the crew went home with fish! Spanish Mackerel, Red fish, Sharks and those are just a few of what I remember. If we fish on Amelia Island we fish with D&R Charters.

Great day of fishing with the family
5 Hour Trip – Offshore on April 3, 20262 adults2 children

Captian Dave helped us have a perfect day. He was so patient and helpful with my kids, 8 and 11 years old, and made sure they had an unforgettable experience. From the dozens of red snapper we caught, the two bonnet sharks, and the most fun, two 70lb black drum, we had a day! I would highly recommend a trip with Captain Dave to anyone looking for a good experience

Angler's Choice

The Angler's Choice Award is given to listings that consistently deliver a high-quality service and earn great reviews from customers.

Captain David started fishing at the age of 4 and he's been hooked ever since. Anything from pitching crickets next to the bank to bluewater fishing for pelagic species. Captain David started his charter fishing career while he was in high school at 15 years old and has been in it for a little over 18 years now. It has always been a passion of his being on the water and making a living doing something he truly enjoys, fishing! To him, there's nothing more exciting than watching a first-timer reel in a fish of their dreams or having a kid cheesing with their catch. The whole purpose is to go out and have a great day on the water making memories that'll last a lifetime! The captain looks forward to meeting y'all.
