Oahu Pelagic Sportfishing welcomes you to Hawaii, a natural paradise and a first-class fishing destination. Meet its gorgeous sea world as you explore the offshore waters and search for many interesting and prized species that call this area home. Come to Honolulu and have an unforgettable angling experience.

We only run private trips, so rest assured you'll have the boat all to yourself!

Your journey will start on a 35’ Bruno & Stillman saltwater fishing boat. It runs on a 375 HP Caterpillar engine and can sit up to 6 guests. It uses modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology for safe navigation. The onboard amenities include a flybridge, toilet, bed. Also, there’s an ice-box for you to store all your favorite drinks and snacks. For any help, just turn to the first mate and they will see to all your needs.

The choice of fish you can catch is excellent. There’s Giant Trevally, Wrasse, Nabeta, Taape, Uku, Papio, Triggerfish, Needlefish, just to name a few. Kids are more than welcome to join in, so feel free to bring them along as well. Both guests and the crew will keep the fish they catch. Of course, you’re free to return it to the water if you wish.

You’ll be provided with all the rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures. Feel free to bring any food and drinks of your choice.

Children ages 2 and older welcome! The total maximum group size is 6 guests.

Great quick trip to fish with family

My sons and I were hoping to do a half day charter on the north sore but it rained so much our trips kept getting cancelled. We checked charters in Honolulu and found this one. The entire team was so helpful. Literally booked us with a few ours notice and Dante the captain was awesome and made sure we all caught a fish. He was very knowledgeable about the area, we even saw whales, a sting ray and turtles. Dante made us all feel welcome and kept adding on shrimp to bait our hooks for us and making our whole experience fun. A few of us got sea sick and he was super nice about that too. I would absolutely recommend this for folks who want the experience for a charter without spending the entire day. Our 2 hour trip was just perfect and a highlight of our trip.

Laid-Back Reef Fishing Along Oahu’s Coastline

Reef fishing in Honolulu was an awesome experience! The scenery alone makes it worth it—clear blue water, warm breeze, and views of Diamond Head while you fish. There was a good mix of action too: triggerfish and razor peacock fish are just a few surprises depending on the spot. Captain provided good gear and clear instructions, in particular he was very personable and funny, which added a lot to the overall experience and kept us engaged. It’s a super relaxed style of fishing and great for beginners or anyone looking to do something fun on the water without the all-day deep sea commitment. Overall, highly recommend if you’re visiting Oahu and want to get out on the ocean without going too far offshore.

Saved our day! The whole family had a blast!

So we had booked our charter for 8:30 AM, and after a whole week of events in Waikiki for some reason, my brain had us booked at 12:30 PM. The crew called and let us know that we were late. I explained what happened and they called the party after us to see if they could push out a little bit of time because we were already half an hour late. We booked it over there and Captain Rick and the crew were unbelievable. What a great dude and best of all was we caught a ton of fish. We had a really good charter. My 12-year-old son absolutely loves fishing and could not stop thinking about this trip all week. If I had blown that it would've been the worst way to end our vacation. Instead, Captain Rick and the booking service really turned it around for us. Unbelievably grateful and we had a blast. Thank you.
