Hoping to catch some fish in Honolulu? That's what No Whiners Sportfishing is here for! We have been fishing these waters for 30+ years, even though we lost everything to the fires. Our captain is eager to show you everything we know about these waters and the fish that inhabit them.
Species like Mahi Mahi, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Shortbill Spearfish, Rainbow Runner, Wahoo, and more inhabit these waters, depending on when you go. For these species, you're likely to troll using light tackle. We will cut fish for you for the rest of the nights your on island, if youd like to keep more we'd sell it to you fir market price, we want no fish to go to waste. We also wont ship fish but places on island will!
Trips with No Whiners Sportfishing are open to the whole family, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea!
You'll step aboard the Sea Verse III, a 42' Pacifica sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. We also supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but depending on the moon
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My son and his 2 best friends booked a charter and really just wanted to catch anything ad we are from Texas and they mainly do pond/ lake fishing. Captain Fuzzy delivered a once in a lifetime catch a Yellowfin tuna 130+ pounder. i cant put into words the elations my boys had working together to bring this in and seriously the Captain and his mate were just as excited as we were if not more. Its no gaurentee your going to catch a fish when you go out but Captain Fuzzy and mate are going to go above and beyond to do what they can to deliver a true once in a lifetime experience. Captain Fuzzy and mate seriously created a memory for me and my boys that will last forever. I can’t thank you guys enough, we got home and the boys are reliving the moment over and over again. What a blessing we Picked you. Thank you

The captain and crew knew exactly where to go and worked nonstop to get us on fish. The highlight was landing a massive blue marlin. Absolute fight of a lifetime and something we will never forget. The crew coached us through the entire process and made it an unreal experience from start to finish. The boat was clean, well equipped, and ran smooth the whole trip. These guys are the real deal and you can tell they take pride in what they do. If you are even thinking about booking, do it. Highly recommend the Diehard crew. We will definitely be back!!

10 Hour Trip on March 30, 2026 • 6 adultsWe had an outstanding experiance fishing with Zack and Kaito! We had a party of 6 avid freshwater fishermen with very little saltwater experiance, and Zack and Kaito explained how to fish saltwater. We also learned how to spot where the fish are as we chased them across the ocean. The winds were high the day we went out so ensure you have dramamine if you are senstive to motion sickness. The crew, boat, and fishing equipment (included the hand made lures) were awesome. We will definetly book with this crew again! We were very forunate to catch 3 different species of fish and everyone was able reel in their own. Zack and Kaito - Thank you for an awesome time!

Our deckhand had everything ready and waiting for when we did! We caught 5 skip jack tuna (aku). Deckhand was great getting us in chair and fish on board once we got it there. Highly recommend!

10 Hour Trip on January 11, 2026 • 2 adultsDid the 10 hr trip and caught 5 fish including an absolute Donkey of a Mahi. Saw quite a few other fish playing in the spread that wouldn't bite solid. We had Zach, Kaito, and Isiah for a crew and they were awesome. Always busy minding the spread, changing lures/baits and making sure we hooked up the bites. They were great about answering questions and helping us any way they could. Book with these guys, you won't be disappointed.

8 Hour Trip on August 8, 2026 • 4 adultsit was a long day but this crew works hard! we got one mahi mahi but other boats from the marina didnt even catch anything. these got us a nice mahi mahi but while doing so, they risked the baits getting caught in a floating net. it got under the boat into the prop, but they went in to cut it off to get us back. they couldnt go fast but they gave us an extra two hours of fishing for free. the crew is what makes this charter awesome!

6 Hour Trip on April 1, 2026 • 2 adultsHad an awesome 6-hour trip yesterday with perfect weather. Caught a Mahi Mahi on the way out, no more than 1.5 hours into the trip, and an 85 lb. Shibi on the way back in. Zack and Kaito were top notch and even shared a bit of smoked Marlin with us. If you want no frills, fishing with a great crew, book these guys. Also, both fish were caught on Kaito’s custom made lures — let’s go!

We booked a 4 hour bottom trip which was turned into 5 hours of rolling for no rxtra cost. we got to leave early and ended up trolling the entire time we did not catch any fish, but we saw a tiger shark on the surface dolphins playing and some sea turtles. We had a great time talking with the captain and first mate even without catching fish the trip was still very fun. captain and first mate tried really hard to get us on fish but the fish werent having it. Boat ride was incedibly smooth and comfortable. Still an amazing time on the water.

The captain and crew were super fun and awesome to chat with but our group of 6 were out there for about 6 hours and we didn’t catch anything plus none of us felt good from the rougher waters compared to what we’ve experienced before. We did start 4 hours later than our original time to have calmer waters so that could have played a factor into not getting anything. I would still recommend them but if you aren’t used to deep sea fishing, I would ask them to go no further than 10 miles out because we were miserable for about half the time.
