Captain Black’s Fishing bids you a warm welcome to Panama City Beach, Florida. Join in and embark on a fishing adventure as you explore the area’s productive nearshore and offshore waters. Your captain has fished these waters for several decades and is great with families and kids. You’re welcome to join regardless of your experience. The charter looks forward to seeing you aboard its newest "Black Magic" boat and will treat you like friends and family.
Your journey starts on a restored 42’ SeaRay flybridge boat that can sit up to 6 guests. Powered by two 320 HP turbocharged Caterpillar engines, she is both fast and comfortable. Equipped with a restroom, shower, kitchen, bed, flybridge, your time on the water will be as enjoyable as possible. There is plenty of shade and a large back deck to fish from and she’s also equipped with the latest navigation electronics. There’s an onboard multimedia system as well as a refrigerator and an ice-box. The boat’s fishing gear includes outriggers, a fighting chair, and livewell. She’s even accessible to guests in wheelchairs and there will be a first mate present on board.
There’s a huge choice of fine species to target, some of them including King Mackerel, Snapper, Grouper, Ladyfish, Black Seabass, Shark, and Amberjack. Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, spin, and jig for them. Kids are welcome to join the trip. You can take home all your catch or release it if you prefer so.
The crew will cover you for rods, reels, tackle, lures, and fishing licenses. You’ll just need to bring your favorite food and drinks before you depart.

booked for a 4 hour trolling charter deckhand wasted no time getting the bait in the water and getting new bait on the hook promptly after the fish was in the cooler and even tho it was a slow morning the captain kept us on the fish you could tell he had alot of experience as the other boats were not catching anything thanks for helping me give my son and family a great experience. spend the little extra money on this charter I believe the captain’s experience in fishing is worth it

My wife and I booked a 6 hour trip with Cpt Black's to create a great memory for our 3 sons ages 18, 20, and 22. They delivered with flying colors! Cpt Jeremy and Clay took us out and delivered a day of wonderful fun. We didn't catch a ton of fish that day because that's how fishing goes sometimes but those guys worked incredibly hard the whole time to try to put us on them and we did catch a few big ones. But the highlight of the day was that Clay told us early on that he was going to help us catch a big shark and he worked on that all day non stop every where we fished. And eventually he did! We hooked a giant (well we thought it was giant) 6-7 foot shark and we even have the pictures for proof. If fought so hard everyone got to reel it in some. What a wonderful memory. We have a lot of vacation memories but this is definitely #1. Highly recommended!!!

So originally booked cheaper and shorter trip for myself and two boys 20/18. Within ten minutes of booking I received a phone call from Captain Black with the warning that conditions would not be great and I should consider a longer deeper trip. Great feedback, trip we initially scheduled caught zero…we caught 13 red snappers and one 8 foot shark which we released. Boat was great, Clay was great and so was the boat captain. Captain Black’s sage advice allowed for a very memorable adventure. Highly recommend!!!!
The Captain and deck hand are amazing. They put us in the fish and we had a really good time out of the mechanical issues we experienced. Make sure to reach out to the captain a week out from your booking date and ensure all equipment are in working order if not get ready for a really hot fishing day and slow travels in between getting there and coming back.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
