AGM Fishing Charter Capt. Alex
Pesca Mares Capt. Alex invites you to spend an amazing time exploring offshore and inshore fishing in the Marathon area. Capt. Alex has been fishing in Florida waters for 20 years! The captain runs family-friendly fishing trips and loves to share fishing techniques as well as a strong belief that fishing is more than just catching fish! He also speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese languages.
You’ll be fishing on a 28’ Baha boat that accommodates up to 5 guests. This cuddy cabin is powered by twin 175 HP Suzuki engines that reach the maximum speed of 40 knots. The boat features safety gear, modern navigational electronics, outriggers, a live bait tank, and a cooler. You’ll also be joined by the first mate on your trips.
The main targets on these trips are different types of Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, and Blackfin Tuna. It all depends on how far off the shore you want to go and how challenging you want your trip to be. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never fished before – you can learn everything you need to know right here.
All fishing equipment and licenses are included in the price. You only need to pack your food, drink, and sun protection.

Best day ever!
Our kids have been asking to go fishing and catch fish that they could eat. We booked with Captain Alex and he did not disappoint. He took the time to teach all of us the techniques needed to be successful and we were catching fish non stop. I would 100% recommend booking a charter with him and plan to use Captain Alex again next time we are down in the keys. What made it even better is all of the pictures and videos he captured for us.

Captain Alex was great! Very patient with us as some of us were beginners and we caught lots of fish! Captain Alex has a great personality and helped make the experience enjoyable for those of us who were new and the seasoned! Best fishing trip ever!
Alex was an amazing Captain and guide! We went out on a short 3 hour trip and he took my wife and I to a remote spot. To say he put us right on the fish would be an understatement! We had so much fun and he was super patient and fun to hang out with! We highly recommend Alex to anyone who wants to catch a lot of quality fish!
