The 'Billfish' is a 38' custom-built cruiser, powered by twin 225HP turbo Perkins Sabre engines. It has a very spacious fishing area, a very comfortable seating area, and is fully equipped for big game fishing. Outriggers, downriggers, and even a center rigger, it's all set up for maximum Billfish hookups.
Capt. Billy and his professional first mate Jerome have learned fishing with their late grandfather and other well-known fishermen of the area. Come and join them for a wonderful experience and share in the thrill of hearing that reel screaming. They'll provide you with all the equipment and the know-how to battle many pelagic predators. You can target fish like Dogtooth, Yellowfin, and Skipjack Tuna, as well as Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, and various Sharks.
The main stars of the show are the Black, Blue, and Striped Marlin, and Sailfish. After fishing for Skipjack to use as live bait you'll head out to the 9000' deep water to go after these torpedo-sized monsters.
While you're waiting for the bite you can enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the coastline of Mauritius, as Dolphins playfully breach the surface near the boat.

Thanks to Captain Billy and the crew Jerome and Ding. The first day we caught Doritos for bait and although we had 1 Marlin strike the hook didn't set properly so we lost that one pretty quickly and the Sharks made short work of the rest of the bait. Day 2 however was a different story we had a nice Wahoo of about 20lb and 2 Yellow fin Tuna both were about 80lb. However the story doesn't stop there after nearly 4 hours fighting a huge Black Marlin after about one and half hours I had to hand over to the crew that's the trouble with getting old. All of us together manage to get the first along side the boat at witch point the huge Marlin of 900lb estimated gave one last huge shake of it's head and broke the hook line. So in one way it was hard to take but on the other hand that Magnificent fish is still swimming around the ocean. I would like to thank Billy and crew again for a once in a lifetime experience.

Wir hatten echt Glück mit dem Wetter, zuerst suchten wir rine große Gruppe bon Vögel denn das besagt das dort ein Schwarm von Fische steht. Nach 1 1/2 Stunden war es soweit, wir fingen 10 Bonitos dann war das Beissen zu Ende. Dann hatte ich grosse Glück und fing noch einen großen Maih Maih schätze ca. 10 bis 15 kg nach 20 Minuten hatte ich ihn an Bord, dann gung es zurück.

Captain Billy and his crew showed true teamwork and professionalism throughout the entire trip. You can clearly see how well-coordinated and experienced they are — everything was handled smoothly and confidently. We were definitely not left without a catch, and the highlight of the day was landing a 40 kg sailfish — an incredible experience and pure adrenaline. It was a fantastic day on the water from start to finish. Highly recommended.

so decided to take the plunge and go marlin hunting. Have tried several times and even though slightly out of season here. guess what i did it. Capt billy is brilliant and jerome and king the crew were fantastic. Tackle is first class. knowledge exceptional and takes time to explain the process. Boat very comfy and had space for my wife to relax and a lovley clean toilet. So all in all a brilliant day topped off by seeing dolphins and Sperm whales
