To attract them, you can use bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, drift fishing, as well as fly fishing. I was very disappointed in fishing with this captain. He never gave a single thought to what I the customer wanted. I asked several times to fish for whiting, croaker and sheephead, we spent the day fishing for redfish and trout. Then he kept repositioning the boat so that he would have the best vantage for catching fish and left areas where we the customer were catching the fish we desired. I am not interested in trophy fish but he seemed elated when he caught a 22 inch trout. I would have been happy with the whiting, croaker and sheephead that I like to eat. He turned what should have been a very good day into a worst day ever.
We had a tough tide but Drew and Buddy did their best to make it happen. Picked up some spotted sea bass, croaker and whiting which was delicious. Thank you gentlemen!
