An incredible fishing adventure awaits you! Join Persuader Charters and head out on a trip you'll never forget. Captain Dennis has been fishing in the area his whole life and he knows these waters like the back of his palm. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned angler, you'll have lots of fun aboard this charter.
The boat you'll be fishing from is a 44' Henriques boat. This fishing machine was restored in 2021 and upgraded with the newest navigational electronics and powerful twin 430 HP Cummins engines. The boat features kitchen appliances, a private toilet, and an enclosed flybridge. To make fishing more effective, there's also a fighting chair, a live bait tank, and outriggers.
All trips are available from April–December for groups of up to 6 guests. Depending on what fishing grounds you visit, you can go after Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Bluefish, Flounder and Porgy. Try out different fishing techniques and see which one feels best to you. Let the captain know if you need more of his help or if you prefer to fish on your own.
The crew covers the most important details of your trip – your fishing licenses and all of the equipment you'll need. After the trip, they'll even clean and fillet your catch. You only need to take care of your snacks, drinks, and some sun protection.

8 Hour Trip on June 21, 2026 • 2 adultsFishing with Persuader Charters was nothing short of a blast. We booked the trip last minute, because another charter we had lined up cancelled 2 days prior. Luckily we found these guys. Our caption asked us at the dock if we wanted to go after slot size keepers, or trophy fish. Having that choice made me realize the day we were about to have. We decided to make the run out to north Block Island and chase the big girls, and we were not disappointed. Although every drift didn’t have fish, the fish we caught were very high quality which is exactly what we wanted. Multiple 40+inch fish with one 50 incher landed on the day. We were also able to land a cookie cutter slot Striper to take home for the grill. It really was a perfect day. The captain and mate worked hard to make sure we had a great experience, and I couldn’t be more thankful. Book the trip!! You wont regret it.

From catching fresh mackeral for bait and using them for those striper “cows” including running into some pilot whales. We got the best of both worlds, fishing and whale watching , it was an unforgettable day on the water. Bonus, the crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful! Thank you Chris, Mike, and George and of course Capt. Denny. We will be booking again soon!

Great day making memories and dreams come true. Will definitely be back. Had to throw some stripers back they were so big. My 11 year old granddaughter landed a 25+ pounder 39 inch with a little assistance. Great day thank you Captain Denny and Petsuader crew

6 Hour Trip on July 1, 2024 • 6 adultsCaptain put us on the fish within the first 15 minutes of hitting the grounds!!! Fished that spot for an hour or so landing about 5-6 oversized stripers. We they hit a few fish in another spot. Halfway thru our trip he said he had a great spot for slot fish. Having to stay in a 3 inch window for keepers is tough but we hit gold. Caught about 11-12 keepers in an hour run. Had to throw a bunch back due to limits but overall what a trip. Great Captain and the mate Chris was extremely experienced and always on his toes. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!

Started the day with a jaw-dropping 40-lb. striper, couple more of those before moving on to non-stop black sea bass action. Caught our limit and a couple of porgies and sharks to boot. I have only been on maybe 4 charter trips in my life (MA, FL, ME, RI) and this was by far the best. Thank you, gentlemen, for a trip we will not forget!
