Captain Jose and deck hand Oscar were a great team. We scheduled a 6 hour trip and caught 22 or more Bonita. A couple of times we had 6 lines hooked up at the same time and there were only 4 of us.
We also saw a few Striped Marlin, but they just weren’t hitting the lures.
I would book a full day next time so we could get an earlier start and go out further.
Be sure to bring your own lunch and beer as they do not provide it. They did make ceviche for us, but it lacked jalapeño’s and cucumber.
Over all the trip was well worth what we paid.

The day was overcast and cool, which was perfect day for us. We got into Crevalle Jacks less than 5 minutes into the trip. We also caught Bonitas and Mackerel. Through the day we say a Sea turtle next to the boat along with dolphins fairly close playing out toward the horizon with the coastline as a back drop. Captain Mike and Felipe were gracious, attending and great to be around. The fresh Ceviche that Felipe made was amazing to say the least!!! Expertly prepared in front of you (we learned some new filet techniques) and better than restaurant quality when finished. Felipe also explained the options with the bigger fish we caught in terms of taking it with us, donating it or mounting the catch. There was no pressure in any case and the no pressure approach made for easy decision making. Overall it was a memorable adventure that we will be doing again with this same charter. Enrique the owner stayed in touch the whole time ahead of the trip and made sure that I knew everything to expect and where to be. He took down a list of food items we wanted and had them ready for us to enjoy during out trip. The attention to detail and to us was second to none. I would highly recommend Vallarta Sportfishing - Brisa II to all interested people. You will not be disappointed!!!

I brought my brother in law along with hopes of landing a big fish. This did not disappoint! The captain and first mate were excellent and we brought in 2 dorados that we released due to size and gender. Half way through the trip we pulled in a great sailfish!! They cut the meat up and put it in a cooler for us to take back to our hotel. I was able to feed my group of 7 last night with our catch! 10/10 service and comfort. Will be using this charter again next time we’re ready for another first class fishing experience. Can’t wait for my sailfish mount to come in.

Fishing with Vallarta sportfishing was a.great experience. The crew Oscar and Jose were very good and we caught 3 mahi mahi. Oscar prepared a lunch with fish recipe and tortillas. Enrique the owner, met us at the dock and did everything possible to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Enrique and Vallarta sportfishing. We had a blast.  Caught 3 fish early then had a slight lag so Oscar was making fresh ceviche.  We then started catching fish non-stop for about an hour or so.  Caught so many we lost count.  Needless to say the ceviche had to wait for a while but it was awesome when we finally were able to relax.  Great day!  Highly recommend.
