Vallarta Sportfishing – Brisa ll 

8-hour big game trip week of Christmas. Nothing biting out past the bay but we picked up a mahi and 3 bonito on the way in. Captain and first mate provided great service, very friendly and accomodating. Fresh ceviche was delicious! Overall it was a relaxing day on the boat cranking some tunes and the crew worked hard to put us on fish. I’d book them again.

Captain Jose and Deckhand Chuy were amazing, absolutely top shelf individuals. We caught 2 Jack Crevelle and 1 Amberjack? Chewie moved quick to the rods, both men were always on the lookout for signs of fish, and both very polite and fun to be around. The Amberjack was turned into ceviche right on the aft deck as we trolled, best ceviche I've ever had, Chuy's moms secret recipe;) Highly recommend these two gentlemen.

Captain Jose and deck hand Oscar were a great team. We scheduled a 6 hour trip and caught 22 or more Bonita. A couple of times we had 6 lines hooked up at the same time and there were only 4 of us. We also saw a few Striped Marlin, but they just weren’t hitting the lures. I would book a full day next time so we could get an earlier start and go out further. Be sure to bring your own lunch and beer as they do not provide it. They did make ceviche for us, but it lacked jalapeño’s and cucumber. Over all the trip was well worth what we paid.

Oct. 25, 2023. 8 hrs. Offshore. Boat -Brissa II - 34 footer - Captain Enrique ? Myself (Richard) and my friend Ron from New Mexico had a target of Mahi Mahi, Sailfish and Marlin. No Marlin or Sailfish but we landed 21 Mahi Mahi. Was so burned out we told the Captain "We are done" and came in over an hour early. That was a 1st. Great trip, Great Captain and great crew. The only down side was that it was un-Godly hot and humid. Would highly recommend this boat and crew.

The day was overcast and cool, which was perfect day for us. We got into Crevalle Jacks less than 5 minutes into the trip. We also caught Bonitas and Mackerel. Through the day we say a Sea turtle next to the boat along with dolphins fairly close playing out toward the horizon with the coastline as a back drop. Captain Mike and Felipe were gracious, attending and great to be around. The fresh Ceviche that Felipe made was amazing to say the least!!! Expertly prepared in front of you (we learned some new filet techniques) and better than restaurant quality when finished. Felipe also explained the options with the bigger fish we caught in terms of taking it with us, donating it or mounting the catch. There was no pressure in any case and the no pressure approach made for easy decision making. Overall it was a memorable adventure that we will be doing again with this same charter. Enrique the owner stayed in touch the whole time ahead of the trip and made sure that I knew everything to expect and where to be. He took down a list of food items we wanted and had them ready for us to enjoy during out trip. The attention to detail and to us was second to none. I would highly recommend Vallarta Sportfishing - Brisa II to all interested people. You will not be disappointed!!!

We went as a family of three. I wasn’t originally going to go along but my husband and son convinced me and I’m so glad I did! I left the fishing to them (they hit the jackpot fishing Spanish mackerel) and I just enjoyed the view and did some whale watching- there were so many! The crew was excellent! They were both friendly and extremely efficient! They were quick to get the lines out and the boys were reeling in fish in tandem. The crew even brought snorkelling gear at my request, which we never used as the boys were having too much fun, catching 30+ mackerel! A great day!

I brought my brother in law along with hopes of landing a big fish. This did not disappoint! The captain and first mate were excellent and we brought in 2 dorados that we released due to size and gender. Half way through the trip we pulled in a great sailfish!! They cut the meat up and put it in a cooler for us to take back to our hotel. I was able to feed my group of 7 last night with our catch! 10/10 service and comfort. Will be using this charter again next time we’re ready for another first class fishing experience. Can’t wait for my sailfish mount to come in.

It was my family and I first time taking a fishing charter and we had an incredible time. We started caching fish right away and had some of the best Ceviche with our catch. Crew was top notch and boat was spacious with great gear.

Fishing with Vallarta sportfishing was a.great experience. The crew Oscar and Jose were very good and we caught 3 mahi mahi. Oscar prepared a lunch with fish recipe and tortillas. Enrique the owner, met us at the dock and did everything possible to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Enrique and Vallarta sportfishing. The crew was great, boat was clean and plenty large enough for our group of 6. The crew was great and funny. We only caught Bonita but saw lots of Wales and enjoyed it.
