Good Time Charters offers a fun-filled day for the whole family with inshore fishing and scalloping trips in Steinhatchee,
led by Captain Melissa Fain on a 22' center console boat that comfortably fits up to 4 anglers.
The boat's powerful 150 HP outboard allows for swift travel at 35 knots, and it's equipped with trolling motors, live bait tanks, navigational electronics, and depth finders.
All gear, bait, and licenses are included, so you just need to bring snacks, drinks, and sun protection.
Kids aged 5 and up are welcome, making it a perfect adventure for families to enjoy relaxing yet exciting fishing for species like Flounder, Redfish, Seabass, Trout, Spanish Mackerel and many more, or scallops when in season.

She gave us a lesson and eas so hands on with the kids. We had so much fun and got so many scallops. She even taught us how to shuck them. Highly recommend her!

4 Hour Trip – Scalloping (AM) MAX 6 on June 15, 2024 • 6 adultsBooked a charter with Good Time Charters for scallop on opening day (June 15th, 2024). It was our 1st trip all around to Steinhatchee. We had someone aboard that had never scalloped nor snorkeled before. Melissa got in the water with him to show him the ropes & was super patient with him while he tried to navigate through everything. We got our limit before time & after asking, they took us to a nearby sandbar for a bit. We cranked up the tunes & just chilled in the water until it was time to head back. What an incredible time to be had by all. I would definitely recommend Capt Melissa with Good Time Charters for ANY type of charter. She really knows her stuff!!

Our first time scalloping and they were extremely helpful with help in the water and safely watching over us from the boat. We got a plentiful catch to take home for dinner. Half day we were able to hunt for scallops in three different areas. The captain took us to right where we could find them best. And being locals, they were able to guide us to the best places in town. Thanks for such a memorable adventure!

5 Hour Trip – Sheepshead on March 15, 2024 • 4 adultsSo we booked this trip for our son and daughter in law to join us for fishing in the hatch. We started out a little slow but when we got into the thick of things with sheepshead we had a fantastic day they were absolutely hitting for us. We caught a bunch of grunts along with some porgy and sea bass to round it all out. Great time with a great Captain and crew very attentive to our needs and absolutely flawless when it was time for “Fish On”.

Boat was very stable, equipment was top notch, and they were great to hang out with. I would highly recommend going with this crew! loved fishing with just the girls.
We went scalloping with good time charters. My sister and I had no experience in snorkeling at all, but captain Melissa looked after us and knows the best spots for beginners. My sister and I had an amazing time catching scallops and visiting the undersea world. Captain Melissa also showed us lots of interesting sea life. We cannot thank her enough for her kindness.

Firstly, don't look for a fishing review here. This was a scalloping trip led by Captain Melissa Fein. Although we didn't find many scallops, we ladies had a blast on our trip, which really was the goal of our first-time scalloping adventure.
