5 G’s Fishing Charters-45’ Hatteras 

This was the BEST day out we've had! The crew were wonderful - but we're gonna have to come back for the promised Swanky tale. The owner Mr. Garvin made sure that we were taken care of but he needn't have worried. Our captain, and first mates were well prepared. AND they made sure that the kids got in on the action; had them casting out like pros!

Today’s trip was excellent. A little chilly when we started because of the wind but Captain Frank, First Mate Swanky and Jr were great guides. We caught 6 fish in light tackle and 4 Barracudas, and a wahoo trawling. These guys know what they are doing and are super courteous. Needless to say I’d go out with these guys any day. Thanks to Tony as well he made sure that all of our questions were answered before and after the trip. Awesome service and we will be back to fish with 5Gs fishing.

Great day on the water with a great crew. As soon as we got to the boat they greeted us and asked us what we wanted to fish for. We wanted to chase wahoo and do some light tackle fishing as well. The morning troll was slow but we did manage to hook one wahoo. We then switched it up and fished the shallows and had constant action on a variety of fish including two large mutton snapper. After that the crew was nice enough to put the trolling gear out again for another shot at a wahoo. I would recommend this outfit. We left the kids behind, but would have been great for them too as the ocean was flat calm. Thanks again.

We paid for a 6 hour fishing trip. There was 3 of us on the boat. The bites were scarce. Took 2.5 hours for the first bite, the fish ended up getting off the hook. Ended up catching a barracuda an hour later. Caught the next fish about 1.5 hours later. Also a barracuda. Third guy up, another 1.5 hours to catch a fish. Also another Barracuda. As for the captain and first mate, couldn’t ask for better. First mate kept fresh bait on the hooks all the time. The captain stayed out longer then we paid for just to try and let the 3rd guy catch his fish. With he finally did. There was drinks on ice, if you get hot you can go inside the cabin and take a break. We will be going back out with this crew soon. Hope the fish will be biting better next time.

Captain Frank and his crew mate “TUNA” took my son and I on a great day of fishing. First couple of hours trolling was slow, but we anchored for a couple of hours to catch grouper, grunts and other species. Back to trolling the last two hours wher we began catching several barracuda and tuna. Al-in-all, a very active and fun day of fishing in perfect Bahama weather conditions.

Had a blast with my family fishing and listening to great music while sipping on sodas and snacking! We caught 5 barracudas and it was a great experience! Highly reccomend :)
