Rogezac Sportfishing is located in Los Angeles in San Pedro waters minutes away from the open ocean so you won’t spend too much time in the harbor. We are all about customer service so you will get the best service here. And will guarantee to put fish on your line. Come out to make the best memories happen.

A 100 Ton USCG captain and CPR-certified. Capt. Roger has 32 years of experience, so you will definitely go home with fish guaranteed. He will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 12-hour trips, mainly fishing for Yellowtail, Halibut, Tuna, California Sheephead, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Calico Bass, Rockfish, and Red Snapper, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, big game fishing, and jigging.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 30’ Steiger Craft boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers to the island and up to 6 anglers to the local waters. This boat comes with a toilet and an ice-box.

The boat provides 4 Shimano Baitrunner spinners for beginners and also has conventional reels for heavy game. We do have 2 electrical reels on board for deep drops when the captain decides they should be used. We also provide all hooks, weights, and bait. You can bring your own fishing poles if you like. If you are 16 and older, please make sure to bring a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. Before you depart, just pack some food and drinks, and don’t forget your sunscreen and fishing licenses. We offer the best customer service on the waters so please take care of the crew to show that you appreciate it.

Incredible trip

4hr local Electric Reels Deep Drop on November 6, 2025

We had an incredible trip with ROGEZAC Sportfishing. I’ve been on well over 100 charters and it’s rare to find a captain this in tune with the fish. I’d HIGHLY recommend both first timers and fishing veterans book without hesitation. I’m confident you won’t be disappointed. Additionally I’ve been after a lingcod for years and in under an hour I had landed the beauty you see in the picture. Don’t hesitate to book, if you do you’ll regret it.

We had a great time!

We had such a great time with Rogezac fishing. The Captain was super communicative and moved our trip to earlier in the day to avoid high winds in the afternoon. He was double booked, so we fished on his second boat with his sons, who have fished these waters since they were kids. They were funny and knowledgable and helpful. We caught more than 25 fish, which they cleaned and bagged up for us. We had an amazing time and would recommend this to anyone!

Absolutely amazing!

8 Hour Trip – Local on September 10, 2025

We had an amazing fishing day with ROGER and his son Zac last week on our family vacation to California. We caught so many fish, had such a great time, and Roger and Zach made it all fantastic! They let us beat the hooks, cast, catch, help with the rigging, everything! On the way back in, ROGER filleted all of our fish and bagged them up for us to take back to the hotel. My grown, married kids, had such a wonderful time with them! The boat was so clean, they had all of the gear and rigging, the live bait, everything! I have been on a lot of Fishing chargers in years past, and this one definitely ranks in the top couple! If we ever go back to California in this area, I will definitely be booking another charter with Roger and Zach! Thanks for making this such a wonderful day of fishing and catching for me and my family!

Great captain and first hand

4 Hour Trip – Local on August 25, 2025 • 4 adults • 2 children

Marina pickup was as painless as can be. It’s really nice to be in the open ocean in under 2 minutes of travel! We spent a little extra time at the bait barge because he didn’t like what he initially saw. I can appreciate that as good bait is everything and it shows he cares! The boat was clean, quick and had everything necessary for a days trip. I had two young kids with me so it’s nice having additional care like baiting hooks, taking care of the fish, rigging, etc.. Captain Roger and his son Zach were great personalities and you could tell they had a passion along with heavy knowledge/experience in fishing the areas we covered. We had a great day fishing and even came away with 30 pound lingcod! This was just a 4 hour trip but I plan on seeing them again soon. Overall a 10 out of 10

We recently went on a fishing trip with Captain Roger and his first mate, Landon, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From start to finish, both Roger and Landon were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome and comfortable the entire time, and their passion for the ocean and fishing was evident. They were so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic time. We caught some amazing fish, and even our kids had a blast and learned so much from them. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip, and we will definitely be booking with them again in the future. Highly recommend Captain Roger and Landon for anyone looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure!
