Your trip will take place aboard a 26’ Pathfinder bay boat, powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. This spacious and stable vessel comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and is fully equipped with GPS, fishfinder, radio navigation technology, a multimedia system, a wireless trolling motor, and a livewell to keep bait fresh.
You and Captain Roland will target a variety of prized species, including Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Redfish, King and Spanish Mackerel, Trout, Great Barracuda, Sheepshead, Tarpon, sharks, and more. Using both light and heavy tackle, you can fish with techniques such as bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping, and even bow fishing for a unique experience. Families are welcome, and you’re free to keep your catch!

Half Day Trip (AM)
Best four hours of our vacation!
It was our first time fishing in FL waters and Captain Roland made sure it won’t be our last! He was ready to go when we arrived having already filled up the live bait well. Our party included our 81 year old father and teenaged sons, and Roland was able to tend to all of our needs. We started out catching trout for dinner and had other fun with ladyfish, and a venomous catfish he made sure we didn’t touch. We moved on to our second spot where we quickly brought a snook to the boat, landed a snapper, and even caught a grouper. We had a ton of action in all 4 hours of our morning trip. The boat and tackle were top notch. Captain Roland was informative and worked his butt off to make sure we had fun.

Captain Roland!
Captain Roland with Dayshape charters worked hard from before sunrise catching fresh bait, to on the boat getting us to the fish. Captain Roland’s boat was very nice and so was his personality. He clearly stated his boat rules and patiently worked with baiting poles and unhooking fish while also coaching anyone with questions. Just the kind of captain you would wish for with a good mixture of of fishing wisdom, experience, and energy. Would certainly go with him again in the future

Although we didn't catch a lot of fish Capt. Rolland was excellent, tried his hardest to put us on fish and took us to several spots. He is very knowledgeable and was communicating with other captains, no body was catching much. Always remember there is a reason it's called fishing and not catching....lol

Family trip
We had a blast. My wife had one on within seconds of her first cast. Our 9 year old loves to fish and caught so many he had to take a break for a few minutes. Our 4 year old isn’t much for fishing but loves being on the water. It was such a fun experience for all of us. We would definitely recommend using day shape and capt Roland to anyone looking for a great day of catching fish. When we come back to the area we will be using him again.

Great Charter!!
Took an 8am-12pm trip and Roland definitely took great care of us! He got us into some big fish and we managed to hit a few PRs. Some big snook, a few tarpon, and a goliath grouper. Definitely recommend for families, as he did great with my boys. Even with the chaos of landing multiple monster fish at the same, trying to rig poles from fish taking everything, and telling my son to keep one hand on the reel 😂.. Roland never missed a step. Can’t wait to go again. Needs to change the name to “Roland in the deep”.. Highly recommend!
