Absolutely fantastic experience. Captain Stephen really knows his stuff and is super accommodating and ready to help you out and offer any tips and suggestions. Easy-going and friendly personality so he’s super fun and easy to fish with. He also just all around really knows his stuff so if there is fish to be had, you WILL be catching it with him. We had a ton lot luck and will be eating good tonight, thanks to his willingness to clean and filet our fish for us. First mate Cooper was along helping him out too, and also knew a great fishing spot and was eager to help when needed. We will be back!

Captain Steve was amazing! He knew exactly where to find the fish, and in just a 4-hour trip, we came home with a cooler full of fish and had caught 7 different species! My boys had the absolute best day ever, and we will definitely be booking with Captain Steve again! We even got to experience fishing through a rain shower, which was actually a welcome reprieve from the Florida heat. Captain Steve cleaned and filleted our entire catch for us and even recommended a local restaurant that will cook it up for us. Talk about the perfect fishing trip from start to finish! If you're looking for an outstanding inshore fishing charter, Captain Stephen is the one to book! From the moment we arrived, everything was ready to go. He had already been out catching live bait, and the livewell was full, so we were fishing immediately instead of wasting time. Captain Stephen was fantastic with our boys, making the trip fun, engaging, and memorable for the whole family. He knew exactly where to find the fish, and we had an incredible day catching sharks, speckled trout, mangrove snapper, flounder, and jack crevalle. At the end of the trip, he cleaned our catch and even recommended Cocomo's Restaurant, where they cooked our fresh fish to perfection. It was the perfect ending to an amazing day on the water. We had an amazing experience with Wishin’ I Was Fishin Charters in Marco Island! Captain Steve was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about fishing, but also about the local wildlife and ecosystem. We caught snook and plenty of mangrove snapper, and had action throughout the trip, which kept everyone excited. He was especially great with my daughter, constantly keeping her engaged, teaching her about the fish and wildlife around us, and making sure she stayed interested the entire time. The boat was clean, the scenery was beautiful. It was one of the highlights of our Florida trip and felt like so much more than just a fishing charter. Highly recommend for experienced anglers looking for a memorable day on the water, or for families looking to make unforgettable memories together! 🎣

This was hands down the best ocean fishing experience we’ve ever had! We caught a ton of fish, had an amazing time, and our captain was outstanding from start to finish. He was helpful, kind, patient, and great with the kids onboard. We had a wide range of ages fishing, and the captain made sure that none of the kids felt left out or ignored. He helped with baiting hooks, casted for kids who were nervous or uncomfortable, and taught them great tips about ocean fishing since we’re more used to lake fishing back home. He went above and beyond to make it fun for everyone. One of the coolest parts of the trip was watching the dolphins circle the boat while the captain pointed them out, drove the boat closer, and tossed fish to them. The kids absolutely loved it, and honestly, so did the adults! It made the whole experience unforgettable. What impressed me just as much was his communication. Our previous charter had cancelled, and he stayed in touch with us about openings and possible cancellations from other customers so our kids would still get the chance to fish. The kiddos would have been heartbroken to miss out, so his willingness to help and attentive communication truly made our spring break. This was easily one of the best experiences we’ve ever had on the ocean. Highly recommend!

We had a fun trip with Stephen. We started with an unreal up-close dolphin sighting, including some cool jumping dolphins in our wake. Then we started fishing and caught a good variety of fish (sea trout, mackeral, mangrove snapper, angelfish, a few catfish, and the highlight, a big ray). Our captain baited the hooks and chummed consistently and eveyone on the boat caught fish. Despite a tough fishing day, he had a positive attitude and stayed patient with the kids. He also cleaned the fish afterwards and we grilled a great dinner!

Went out on a last minute trip, so glad we did! It was a completely spontaneous decision we actually booked on Xmas day to go out a day after and amazingly it was available. Judging by the number of people on the dock i would definitely recommend booking in advance. We just got lucky that Stephen was available. Great trip. Caught lots of fish. The experience itself is very relaxing and very memorable. Went out with 2 adults and 2 tweens. The captain definitely knew good fishing spots and cleaned all the fish after which was highly appreciated. Overall a lovely experience. Would highly recommend

I took my two sons out today wth Capain Steve and it was hands‑down one of the best charer experiences we’ve had together. The captain was friendly, patient, and clearly knew the water. He put us on fish almost immediately, and the action never really slowed down. Caught a variety of fish. Even saw some bull sharks swim by. Would definitely us Captain Stephen again.

stephen was super laid back and knowlegable abput all of the fish. my 11 year old son had a blast and would have done a longer trip. my 2 daughtera 4 & 7 even caught thwir first fish. we caught many fish but we chose to release them. we also got to see dolphins and Stephen turned around to get a better view. We would definitly book again if we come back to Marco Island!

Stephen was incredible. he had us baited up and ready to fish within minutes! he kept our lines baited, took us to plenty of different spots, and was a good conversation the entire trip. 10/10 recommend 👌 awesome job bro. worth every single penny! caught tons of fish! kept almost our legal limit! the fishing ws so good!
