Captain Eddie was awesome! Asked us what we wanted to catch and got us on fish all morning! Eddie was great with my kids and was always working to show us the best possible experience. He was also concerned about our safety and explained where all the emergency equipment was in case something happened. I would go fishing with him again in a heartbeat. He didn’t rush us and even kept us out fishing past our designated time. He had complimentary water, Gatorade, and tea on board and would ask us periodically if we wanted anything to make sure we all stayed hydrated. Once we got back to the dock he cleaned all of our fish and even shared some family recipes on how to prepare it. We caught more fish today than my kids ever caught on a guided fishing trip before! Book with confidence!

Captain Eddy met us at the Goodland Park boat launch and got my family on board the boat to head out. It was our first time fishing around Marco Island. We usually do inshore fishing, but Captain Eddy suggested we try nearshore fishing. We did and it was great!

Everyone caught several fish, including some sea trout, blue runners, mangrove snappers, permit, and snook. But, the catch of the day was a 6 foot bull shark. It was a heck of a fight, but we eventually ran it down and tired it out. Captain Eddy was very helpful on technique and personable throughout. On the way back to the boat launch, Eddy found some dolphins and pulled up close to them for us to get a few photos. He even recommended a great place to go for lunch to cook up our sea trout (The Little Bar - great local spot with good desserts).

Thanks for some great memories. We can’t wait to come back and fish with you again.

Captain Eddy was awesome! Everything you could look for in a captain. Great with the kids. Would really recommend for families.  Kept us on fish the whole time and made sure we all had great time. We had an amazing trip with Captain Eddie!  There were six of us and we all caught fish! My 11 year old son loves fishing and Eddie was very patient with him and all of us. We had plenty of bait and he knew the best places in the mangroves to fish. We caught several keepers. He filleted them for us and even gave us ideas on cooking them.  We will definitely be back when we come back to Marco for vacation. Highlight of our vacation!!

Captain Eddy let me know that the weather wasn’t looking great. However, we opted to take a chance and we were very glad we did! The wind gusts were up to 35 mph, which we knew would stir up the sediment and make fishing challenging. We still caught a variety of fish and the Captain accommodated our wish to let the ladies do some shelling. We had a large group (6), which is not easily accommodated by most charters - overall, a great trip!!! Captain Eddy let my 10-yo steer his boat, which made his day! He was super friendly and knows what he’s doing on the water - not much more to say, but thanks!
