Running angling trips out of Grand Isle, Southern Angler Fishing Charters invites you to check out the local fishery in style. Capt. Kevin will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing.
He specializes in light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning – all to get you on that bite. You’ll be going after Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Cobia, Snapper, and Amberjack, depending on the season and weather conditions of the day.
Southern Angler Fishing Charters can accommodate up to 6 anglers and comes with an ice box and a wireless trolling motor. All rods, reels, and tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters – fishing.
A fishing license isn’t included, so make sure to get it prior to the trip. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s in accordance with the latest rules and regulations.

Offshore and Inshore trip with 15 species caught. literally way over 150 fish caught. Unfortunately Red Snapper just went out of season as we were slaying them and the Cobia landed was 1/4 of an inch short. Anyway, fantastic trip and Captain Justin worked his butt off for us - thank you for a great day on the water.

Kevin was a great captain and took very good care of me and my family. The many times of us getting tangled up or caught on something, he was quick to fix all problems! Even had my youngest son on stand by if he needed help putting the “keepers” in the compartment! Good family outing! One of the best experiences for my family.

We had a group of 6 total and ended up catching 21 Red Drum along with catfish and Shark. Justin was our captain and he was excellent. He went above and beyond to provide us with a fun experience. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
