Captain Roger will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 7-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and Sheepshead, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, bottom fishing, drift fishing, popping, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 22’ CCB bay boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers, including kids. The boat uses a 300 HP Suzuki engine and GPS technology and comes with an ice-box to store your catch and a livewell.
All rods, reels, terminal tackle, and lures are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time and pack some snacks and drinks to stay energized during the trip.

5 Hour Trip – Quick Fix Bay Trip
Baffin Bay with Roger Perez
Highly recommend at trip with South Texas Outcast with Roger. We booked a 5 hours trip which started at Marker 37 Marina where we met Roger a few minutes ahead of time. We boarded his boat and he took us the Baffin Bay. Once we got our poles baited, the fun began. We had several dozen of hits and landed several keeper trout. When the fishing slowed, he moved us to another spot and we were catching again. When this spot slowed, he moved to another spot where we were catching again. Roger kept up the conversation and where to cast. Great morning trip and would do it again.

Capt Perez was an outstanding guide for our trip to the mouth of Baffin. His service, support and very accommodating nature made for a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable experience on the water. I primarily fly fish but wanted to try a new style in a new area and couldn’t have made a better choice than Capt. Roger. He took the time to explain everything including the why. We were on fish literally from the first cast. Great trip and looking forward to fishing more with these guys
