NSB Shark Hunters – Cocoa Beach
Join NSB Shark Hunters for a once-in-a-lifetime fishing adventure! Your guide will help you catch some real monsters from Cocoa Beach!
Get an adrenaline rush at night with excitement, you can meet your guide on the beach and take your chances with these sea legends. You will go out depending on the tide, but we can be pretty flexible.
If you want to have a relaxed, enjoyable experience, join them in the evening, and watch the moon rise on the horizon with a rod in your hands.
You don't have anything to worry about in advance, except for getting a valid Florida fishing license and bringing it with you, as well as the Shark fishing permit course, which is available for free from the FWC. All the equipment will be provided, including Rods, rigs, and bait.
Target different species of sharks, like Bull, Hammerhead, Blacktip, Thresher, and Tiger Shark. It's a very exciting challenge that you surely won't forget!
Feel free to bring your family along with you since you only pay if you're fishing, and spectating is free. Kids older than 13 will get the chance to try their luck in these waters, but anglers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Since you'll be shore fishing, there's no need for life vests. Your excursion will be catch, tag, and release. Your guide will provide chairs and water, but you should bring some snacks to stay refreshed throughout the experience.
If you're up for the challenge, book NSB Shark Hunters for an unforgettable night on these shark-rich waters!

We had the best trip ! Had imagined catching a shark or 2 , never thought we’d end up catching a monster sawfish ! Caleb & Jackie were amazing , they explained everything very thoroughly, and we had a great time. Our kids even enjoyed the night ! Thank you guys for a great evening!!!
We’re so glad you guys could make it out. We had an awesome time catching that beast of a sawfish too! See you next time!
We did not get lucky enough to land any sharks it is fishing not catching but Caleb was very informative and personable. Sharks were not cooperative but I learned more about surf fishing from the beach, gear requirements, methods, and baits to try myself on my next trip to Florida.
Thank you so much for coming out and joining us last night Adam! We had a great time getting to know you guys. I hope we’ll see you again on your next trip down to Florida!

These guys are awesome. they gave mt son the best experience of his life. he caught a 7ft lemon shark!! Caleb and Matthew are knowledgeable and well experienced. This trip is for anyone wanting to shark fish.

On my last trip down to Florida I was looking for a nice unique charter to go on during my time down south. I came across NSB Shark hunters and met up with captain Dean in Daytona. It was a little difficult to find the meeting spot but eventually I found it. Right off the bat Dean was very nice and informative to make sure you were safe and could have the best time possible. He provided all rods and tackle, beach chairs, and a portable ez-up tent to keep us out of the sun. I went with my sister, but she came as a visitor which was nice because you don’t have to pay extra for people that are just watching as this is a trip off the beach. Dean was very knowledgeable of his craft and was a very entertaining captain. On this trip unfortunately we didn’t get even a bite, which was unusual as he was telling me earlier in the week they caught some nice fish. This isn’t any fault of the captains as the most likely cause was a huge shrimp boat not far from shore which most fish congregate toward for free food. Despite not seeing or catching any sharks it was a great time sharing stories and chatting with the captain. It was unfortunate to spend that money to catch nothing but I wouldn’t say it was a waste at all and I am looking forward to going back on another trip with these guys when I am back down next!
Ty so much for the kind words Ryan, I appreciate it very much. We tried our best to no avail. But when you target a certain species that'll happen. Part of the experience is meeting new people and having a good time. Hope to see you next year. Dean
