Welcome to Hammer Time Charters. I am Mike Andler and for 35 years I have successfully fished the waters of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Canada. Throughout my time I have developed a passion for fishing and a desire to share that passion with others. Join me on Lake Superior, one of the greatest locations in North America for lake trout, brown trout, rainbow trout and walleye. I am Coast Guard licensed, first aid/CPR certified, and fully insured.
Your boat for the day will be a 24' Century walkaround and rigged with all the modern navigation technology. The boat can sit up to 3 anglers, has got a toilet and a bed you can use. There is plenty of space to store your fish, food, and drinks.
You and your guide will be trolling Lake Superior for Lake, Brown, and Rainbow Trout as well as Walleye and Salmon. You're free to choose if you'll release the fish you reel in or take it home.
Captain Mike will provide the fishing tackle, lures, and even fish cleaning and filleting. Kids are welcome to join the trip. Before you come aboard, just make sure to have your licenses, snacks, and drinks.

I was on the boat for a special reason today, my son proposed to his gal on the boat and she said yes! We caught walleye and trout and had a blast, even had a fun visit from the Coast Guard...Captain Mike is the best!! The trip was for my self, son and now soon to be daughter in law! Be prepared to laugh and have fun and catch fish!
At first I thought I'd want to charter a 32' boat, but luckily a co worker and experienced fisherman told me by the time the waves are bad for a 24' boat a 32' is not going to be any better. I brought my two sons on the trip, one who turned 10 that day. Captain Mike was considerate as to how all of us were doing, had some extra water, bug spray etc. Things started slow and then, hammer time! We had a good hour straight of catching fish constantly with occasional catches through most of our half day. Ended up with 8 fish, and the boys and I had a blast. Mike was busy, informative and supportive the entire time. If you have 3 or less people and want a fishing charter experience, booking with Mike is a no brainer. We even caught a coho!
Mike and Bob were outstanding, my boy and I had had a blast. Captain Mike and Bob were very knowledgeable and 2 of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! Equipment and boat were top notch. Kid friendly and treated us like we've been friends for years. Day dtarted out slow, the fish weren't cooperating..mike woked his butt off changing lures and tactics.. mike didn't stop until.we caught fish. we'd ended up with our.lmit of lake trout! Mike even extended our trip a half a hour. i wil ldefinitely book them again!
Great day on the water! A master angler lake trout caught! Absolute blast on the water. Would recommend this charter to anyone. Thanks Captain Mike and helper Bob.

Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Book with 10% deposit, pay rest to captain
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
