Revival Fishing welcomes you to Wanchese, NC! Captain Lewis will take you on a fishing trip you'll never forget. Whether you want to get an exciting ocean adventure or a more laid-back trip around the sound, you'll find everything you need right here. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome to join, so bring your favorite people along and start casting!
You'll be fishing on a 29' C-Hawk boat that's powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. There's enough room for 6 guests to join. This center console is equipped with navigational and safety gear, a live bait tank, and a cooler.
When Capt. Lewis isn't running fishing charters, from fall to spring, this boat is used as his commercial fishing boat. During this time, he uses this boat to hook and line fish for Grouper, Snapper, Kingfish, Tilefish, and Amberjack. These are all the species you can catch during your trip as well!
It's a great way to get an experience of fishing from a commercial boat. The only difference is you get to keep the catch. Usually, Captain Lewis sells his catch to O'Neals Seafood, and from there it makes its way to fish markets, grocery stores, and restaurants around the world.
All fishing equipment is covered, so you just need to pack your snacks and drinks and come aboard Revival Fishing!

My 12-year-old son and I tagged along with my brother-in-law, who had previously chartered with Waymaker. Aside from casting lines into a pond, my son and I had never really fished before. Captain Lewis made everything easy and ensured the trip was an absolute blast, especially for my son, who caught a shark along with numerous other fish. We booked a six-hour charter, and Lewis’ patience, knowledge of the area, and ability to keep us on the fish really stood out. Other captains were voicing their struggles with getting bites that day, but Lewis continued finding productive spots and kept us catching fish. It was an experience my son and I will always remember. I would highly recommend Captain Lewis and Waymaker Charters, especially for families or first-time anglers.

Had a great trip with Captain Lewis! We started at one of the towers and caught some amberjack, then spent the rest of the day alternating between wreck/structure fishing and trolling between spots. We caught a great variety of fish and had plenty of action throughout the trip. Captain Lewis worked hard to keep us on fish, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather or ocean conditions. Great experience all around and we’d definitely fish with him again!

Captain had a great circuit for a half day trip that allowed the trip to feel action packed the whole time going after different species. Marina was easy to find and navigate. I’m not sure it’s guaranteed but there were also some guys back at the dock that quickly filet the fish. Will definitely do again and use the same group!

Bought as a fathers day gift for my dad with the intent to just get on a few fish for fun and to eat, ended up on a good day of Spanish Mackerel and Albacore with plenty of meat to take home. Was on fish pretty much all the way up until the last minute of our trip when we got the last one in. 10/10 day and Captain.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our fishing charter! The kids caught so many fish and had the best time. Our captain was incredibly knowledgeable about what bait to use and knew exactly how to keep the fish biting. He was also energetic, engaging, and fantastic with the kids, making the experience fun for everyone. We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water and can’t wait to come back and do it again next year! Highly recommend!
