Captain Javier gave us an amazing fishing experience from start to finish! My husband and I both caught beautiful tarpon, and I landed my very first one—a memory I’ll never forget. Captain Javier was friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to find the fish and made sure we had a successful and fun day on the water. The boat was clean, the scenery was beautiful, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. Our captain was knowledgeable, dedicated, and instructive. i highly recommend this charter for people who want to catch fish becuase that is captain Javier’s goal. Tarpon are a premeier fighting salt water fish so come prepared to take instruction and be ready for one heck of a fight! let the captain know in advance what your goals and expectations are and he will get you where you need to be!

Captain Santiago Javier took my 5 year old son and I out. He was patient, on time and knowledgeable about the area. He asked if we wanted to leave an hour later to time the better bite, and left it up to us. There were several other boats out and I didn't them land or fight a fish. Even on a tough day for everyone else, we were able to hook into 6 tarpon over 4 hours and put a couple in the boat. Definitely recommend.

I’ve fished w a lot of guides and Capt Javier is best in class. He works hard changing tactics and locations to keep you on the fish. Taught me a ton about Tarpon fishing. I wouldn’t book another tarpon guide in PR.

aptain Javier Santiago Aldrey is as good as guide you could ever ask for. He spoke excellent English so it was very easy to communicate. He was extremely knowledgeable and a very skilled fisherman. We landed 5 good sized Tarpon, and I lost another 3. Tons of action and it was an absolute pleasure speaking with Javier during the trip. A++ highly recommend!

This fishing trip was the highlight of our trip. We had planned time in the rainforest, but heavy rains and flash flooding ruined our plans. We booked this last minute because the trip stayed in the lagoons and would be easier for kids to fish. This is the perfect way to expose your young kids to saltwater fishing without worrying about sea sickness or big fish they cannot land. Our guide expertly put us on young tarpon, despite unfavorable tide conditions. We landed several nice juveniles before looking for some bigger fish. The guide knew the area well, was friendly, and was great at explaining the technique to my daughter. I would strongly suggest this trip if you have any children who want to experience saltwater or larger fish for the first time.
