Healy Outdoors Ice Fishing Trips take place on a variety of lakes within driving distance of Oswego, NY and offers to show you a memorable time on the ice.
Capt. Michael will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Lake Trout, Walleye, Perch, Pike, Tiger Musky, Crappie, and Sunfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day. You pick what you would like to target and we will give you a location on where we will fish them. We regularly fish Oneida lake, Sandy Pond, Sodus Bay, and a good few low-key lakes in Jefferson County.
On these trips you can expect to keep busy jigging, learning jigging techniques, how to utilize a fish finder, and how to set tip-ups.
We utilize an Eskimo 650XD insulated shanty with a buddy heater to keep toasty warm. We can comfortably fish 5 in a shanty. We provide fish finders and an underwater camera. All rods, reels, live bait, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time and dress for the weather.
