Based in Holly Ridge NC, Breadman Ventures Guide Service offers year-round adventures! Join Captain Allen, who's been fishing these waters his entire life. Besides guiding fishing trips, he's also participated in lots of fishing tournaments, so he knows this sport from every different angle, and has many tips and tricks to share.
You'll be fishing on a 22' Simmons Custom Boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. This flats boat is powered by a 300 HP Mercury engine and quickly reaches high speed, so you'll get to your fishing spot in no time. The boat also has a wireless trolling motor, dual Power Poles, Bob's Jackplate and navigational electronics.
Captain Allen specializes in catching Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder in the shallow backwaters of the area. You'll mainly use the light tackle spinning technique and when in season, Flounder gigging. You can release the catch or choose to keep it if you're going to eat it later.
All fishing equipment is included in the price, as well as your fishing licenses. You can bring your food, drinks, and sun protection. If you have any special requests, get in touch with the captain before the trip.

It’s hard to say what the best part was… maybe the fish we caught maybe the jokes Allen told maybe it was the weather or maybe it was how Allen showed up for church the next day to listen to me and my buddy play for the first time on Easter Sunday! I will definitely be coming back time and time again to bring my family and friends and catch more fish Seriously this guy knows what he’s doing and can get the fish to bite even on the slow days. Did I mention he has a nice sound system on the boat?

He knew where the fish were at and what bait to throw at them. He was extremely patient with my wife who is not a avid angler but is starting to take up the sport. The boat was in great working order with plenty of room for everyone. Can't wait to go back out with him possibly this winter.
The fishing started slow, but the Captain refused to give up until he got us on some fish. I'm happy just being on the water with a line in, but my kids want to catch fish and he made sure they did that.

I have been fishing the coastal waters of NC both recreationally and commercially my entire life. I now run lite tackle inshore guided trips and am based out of the Topsail Area targeting redfish and speckled trout with artificial lures. Trips are also available on the Neuse River and Pamlico Sound. I also compete on the redfish tournament trails from here to Louisiana and have many wins and top finishes under my belt.
