Captain Taylor Horrell will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, and spinning – all to get you on that bite. This involves 5 to 10 hour trips, fishing for Spanish Mackerel, Seabass, Grouper, King Mackerel, Bonito, and Amberjack, depending on your chosen trip and the season.
Your boat for the day will be a 31' JC offshore sportfishing vessel that fits up to 6 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with a toilet, ice box, and fighting chair, so you know you're covered for the day. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price, too.
There's need to worry about fishing licenses, either, as they'll be provided and handled by the charter. Capt. Taylor is here to help you with anything you need, and a first mate will be on hand during the trip and they'll even clean and fillet your catch after your trip! Please note that a tip for a job well done is much appreciated.

Capt. Taylor and Mate Drew definitely knew what they were doing. Conditions not quite smooth as silk and they handled the situation with aplomb. Out of the inlet we hit a large Spanish mackerel right off the bat. Later with five lines out the three of us were kept busy reeling in drums, king and Spanish mackerel, big blues, amber jack and albacores. It was a very rewarding experience and a great day of fishing. This was our second trip captain Taylor. A great bonding experience to have with my nephews. Thank you for another wonderful trip.
highly recommended. Captain Taylor explained the likelihood of rough seas and offered to cut our 3/4 day to a half day closer to shore where the waves wouldnt be as bad. He was game when our group still wanted to give it a go. and it paid off. We got Mahi, mackerel (spanish and king), and barracuda. topped off the day with a sailfish. first mate drew worked his tail off to keep the lines in the water and helped the boys get everything in the boat. truly an unforgettable day on the water.
Captain Taylor, and his first mate Drew, gave us a great experience. They are both very friendly and great with kids, They were very knowledgeable and were true “ masters of their craft”. Drew always was maintaining the poles and taking our fish off while talking to us and telling us about what he was doing and why he was doing it. Captain Taylor was driving and finding all the fish. We ended up with a total of 54 fish which they cleaned and packaged for us. Best fishing charter I’ve been on. I’ll be calling them next time we are on the island. Thanks again Captain Taylor and Drew! See you next year!
We caught a lot of Spanish Mackerel, and tried for shark as well. Captain Taylor and First Mate Drew were wonderfully kind, took great care of us, and made sure we caught enough to feed our family of 9 fresh caught dinner tonight! Highly recommend booking with Taylor and Drew 🐟
booked this trip for my grandson’s and had a blast! we caught a amber jack, king fish, gray snapper, black sea bass. Captain Taylor was great and lnew what he was doing as well as drew his mate! i will be back again to go out with them ! it was a great day!
