Topsail Fishin Charters has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Topsail Beach. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Stewart knows them forwards and back.
Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Gag Grouper, Black Seabass, Grunt, Mahi Mahi, Great Barracuda, Cobia, Bonito, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Flounder, Amberjack, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. Based on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Stewart believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to let them know. Also remember to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Stewart welcomes you aboard a 35' Sportfishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, two fighting chairs, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 15-25% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

8 Hour Trip – Offshore on June 29, 2024 • 3 adultsCaptain Stewart has a lot of knowledge about fishing, respect for the sea, and a great personality. His boat is well equipped for all your needs. The boat even had a bed that I was allowed to sleep on. He communicated very well before the trip and asked if we had any specific wants and/or needs. I told him I just want to make sure my dad is happy and he understood the assignment. We knew exactly where to meet and what to have with us for our excursion. He and his first mate (Worm) were so friendly and took such good care of my dad, brother and myself. I was given some tips about setting my hook and as soon as I tried it, I hooked my first big fish for the day. I love a good coach and people willing to give advice. Worm also knows a lot about fish and could name every type of fish that we pulled in. We all had an amazing time and caught plenty of fish. My dad and I agreed that this was the type of trip we would want from now on. I really hope I get to experience another day out at sea with Captain Stewart.

It had been over 30 years for my mom since she had fished and it was my son’s first time! We got us a nice mess of Spanish Mackerel for our fish fry and enough to take home! Definitely recommend this charter, they are a fun, and caring crew that makes it fun for young and old alike! Definitely will book again!

They worked hard to keep the lines in the water and deck cleaned. We ended up harvesting 20 Spanish Mackerel, all of which were filleted for us at the end. We took our grandkids out for their very first fishing trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Capt. Stewart and mate Jackson were absolutely unbelievable. From the minute we got on the boat, they made the kids the priority. They were patient, encouraging, and made sure the grandkids were involved in everything. And most importantly — they put us on the fish! The kids caught plenty and had an absolute blast. As grandparents, you hope their first trip is something they’ll remember for years. Capt. Stewart and Jackson went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly that. Great crew, plenty of fish, happy grandkids, and memories our family will never forget. If you’re looking to take your kids or grandkids fishing, especially for their first trip, this is the crew I’d recommend. Five stars all the way!

We came from PA. I love l fishing off shore and consider that my Happy place. I found this charter online. I had a great time. The captain and first mate were friendly and knowledgeable. Being from PA we fish off NJ, NY and rarely the chesapeak bay. Being a female angler has led to some annoying men treating me like a child. they were great. The captain told me his mother got him into fishing so seeing female anglers makes him enthusiastic. i felt he took the time to evaluate our parties various skill and support each of us at our levels. my nephew got sea sick & They were terrific with him. I highly recommend. 10/10 will use again.
