Topsail Fishin Charters has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Topsail Beach. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Stewart knows them forwards and back.
Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Gag Grouper, Black Seabass, Grunt, Mahi Mahi, Great Barracuda, Cobia, Bonito, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Flounder, Amberjack, and more inhabit these waters, depending on conditions. Based on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Stewart believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to let them know. Also remember to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Stewart welcomes you aboard a 35' Sportfishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, two fighting chairs, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself. You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 15-25% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Teens Loved Catching Fish
This was our (3) teens first time out in the ocean fishing and they loved it! It was choppy, but they loved it! They caught 10 fish while we were out! Capt. Stewart and his first mate were awesome! They made it easy and fun…something not too easy to do with 3 teens…capt. Stewart even shared his ceviche recipe! Make sure to get it before you deboard!

Family time
Captain Stewart and his first mate were amazing! We had a wonderful time taking my 10yr old son and my 60yr old mom out fishing. It had been over 30 years for my mom since she had fished and it was my son’s first time! We got us a nice mess of Spanish Mackerel for our fish fry and enough to take home! Definitely recommend this charter, they are a fun, and caring crew that makes it fun for young and old alike! Definitely will book again!
