Captain Jeff Thierry will pick you up at fort Morgan, AL or Dauphin Island and take you to the area's rich nearshore and offshore waters, reefs, and wrecks. The captain has 35 years of angling experience and guarantees you to catch fish. You'll fish with the latest fishing tackle and gear and the knowledgeable crew will help make sure your fishing experience is one you'll never forget.
The boat you'll be using is a restored 30' Contender center console made in 2020. It can sit up to 6 guests. Thanks to its twin 300 HP Suzuki four stroke engines, you'll reach the fishing grounds in no time and have more time for fishing. The boat uses various navigation electronics and is equipped with a livewell.
The wide choice of fish you can catch includes Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish, bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Blacktip Shark, Amberjack, and Grey Triggerfish. Using light and heavy tackle, you can bottom fish, deep sea fish, troll, spin, and jig. You're free to keep all legal fish you catch.
Your crew will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures as well as fishing licenses. After the trip, the crew can also clean and fillet your catch, completely free of charge. The only things you'll need for the trip are some snacks and drinks.

All around great trip. Captain Jeff called ahead and moved our trip up a couple days because of pending weather reports. Great call, caught our limit. Highly recommend!
My husband, brother and I, and 3 of our daughters did a 4 hour charter with Captain Jeff and his Crewman Jackson. We had a little delay getting started due to weather, but that was totally fine and well communicated to us. Captain Jeff put us on fish right away, and moved when things slowed down. We caught a nice pile of sheepshead, and really appreciated having them cleaned to take home. Jackson was super speedy helping everyone get baited, hooks retied and fish netted. Captain and crew were the utmost professionals. We would absolutely take a charter again with Dorado. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
My son had a couple buddies from Michigan visiting and they wanted to fish. So we took them on their first saltwater charter. The target was Red Snapper and Cobia. Captain Jeff put us on the Red Snapper first and we were 1 shy of the limit but we took some time to target the Cobia and came back with the limit. A great day and the 1st mate (Captain’s daughter) worked her butt off and knew more about fishing and bait than anybody in our crew. Great fishing, great conversations, great experience and somehow the Captain avoided us getting rained on and we were surrounded by it a few times. Thank you!
Captain Jeff and Jackson greeted us and gave us instructions on what we were to do and how we were going to do it. They got us bean bags to sit on as we went to our destination point, which I believe was about 20 miles out. We caught fish immediately and kept catching them. Captain moved us around to better increase our chances of catching bigger fish. Hooked what we thought were sharks getting our fish a couple times which gave us a good fight until our lines broke. We had a great time and will choose Dorado when we come back.
