Welcome aboard A-Pair-A-Dice Charters for a truly private, up-close, and personal experience. The crew is based in Elberta, AL, and fishes out of Barber Marina at the mouth of Wolf Bay in Orange Beach.
Let Captain Jason introduce you to local wild dolphins, drag a Shrimp net and pull up unique aquatic sea life, wet a hook and catch some fish, or simply slip off into some back bays for a scenic nature cruise. Maybe you'll want to take a break from fishing and just sit back and enjoy the breathtaking sunrise or sunset. The captain provides custom fishing cruises of your choice to suit the wishes of you and your family and friends.
Capt. Jason offers inshore and back bay fishing and seasonal nearshore trolling in state waters. He uses live bait for inshore fishing and lures for trolling nearshore. First-time fishermen are welcome and encouraged!
The boat you'll use is a 25' Panga center console that can sit up to 6 guests.
Watching wild dolphins is an extraordinary experience, whether they're hunting and catching fish or just interacting with other pod members. Come see for yourself and take home your own amazing pictures and memories. The Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 makes it illegal to feed dolphins or change their behaviors in their natural habitat. The crew abides by this law and makes every effort to keep them safe.
If you've ever wondered what lives on the bottom of the bay, you can drag a net and pull the catch aboard. This will be an exciting and educational adventure for everyone! You have the chance of seeing Crab, Shrimp, puffer fish, and many other sea creatures. Every time is uniquely amazing. As a bonus, you may get to observe dolphins' behavior, trying to steal your catch right from the net. If you catch enough Shrimp so that you have some leftover after fishing, you're welcome to take it home.
Don't forget some snacks, drinks, and your cameras, and feel free to bring your own binoculars. The amiable crew is waiting for you!

We had 10, 8, 6 year old boys dying to go fishing, and they had an absolute blast! Jason made it easy for them, and knew exactly the way to reel certain fish in and where those specific fish hang out. We had a bit of a challenge finding the biters but that’s fishing for ya! He made sure we found a good spot and my boys were thrilled with the outcome. Jason is a great guy and we were happy to support his business. The marina he docks at is beautiful!
I highly recommend A Pair A Dice Charters for a charted fishing trip! Not only did we catch some fish, we also saw numerous dolphins. We also caught our own bait in the shrimp net. You won’t find a better boat Captain. We were constantly moving searching for fish. It was a great day on the water! They are a family owned business which is what we like to support! Thanks Captain Jason and Wendy for a great trip!

Had a great trip with Capt Jason. He was amazing with our 2 girls (6 and 8) and took a lot of joy in showing them dolphins, going over all the bait fish from the shrimp net with them and putting them on some fish. Would highly recommend if you have young kids. He probably runs an awesome charter for adults too, but if you have anyone under 12 in your group I wouldn't look anywhere else.
Capt Jason was awesome he was so patient with our kids and he was just an awesome guy all around. We caught a variety of fish and even some keepers that we were able to enjoy later that evening including some shrimp. We also really enjoyed seeing the dolphin up close. Thank you so much for the wonderful fishing trip. We will definitely book again with you in the future.

Captain Jason Godwin has spent his whole life on the water and has always loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. The captain is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a retired Federal Game Warden. The best part of his 22-year career in law enforcement was encountering people who were as passionate about the outdoors as he was, especially young people. For Captain Jason, being able to share in the experience of a child or young adult catching their first fish is the most gratifying experience there is. What he loves the most is being allowed to share his passion with his guests, and letting them have the time of their lives is his main goal.
