Come aboard with Capt. Bruce, and let him use his 30 years of experience to show you and your family and friends the fishing trip of a lifetime. You have the option of everything from short 3 and 4-hour trips to 8-hour full day trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, King Mackerel, and Grouper, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.
Your fishing adventure starts on a legendary Conch 27 center console that can safely take up to 4 anglers. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water. Everything you need for an amazing day on the water. The only things you need to bring are your own food and drinks as well as some sunscreen, sunglasses and maybe a hat.

Bruce Anderson, Captain of Easy Does It Charters delivers a great fishing experience on the water. He works very hard and keeps his customers informed and prepared to fish. He is easy to work with and to talk to. We caught beautiful Mutton Snappers and an Almaco Jack. His boat handles the chop very well and his experience on the water and skills at the helm are the best I have seen. It was a great day and I will be calling him again. He works hard for your business and obviously cares about your satisfaction.

Great day fishing with Captain Bruce!
6 Hour Trip on August 19, 2025 • 3 adults
My wife, daughter and I had a great day fishing offshore with Captain Bruce! He is very patient and takes the time to explain everything to you. We told him when we first booked the trip what species we really wanted to catch. Tuna and Mahi were the top two. Captain Bruce had us on the Tuna as soon as we threw the lines in the water! We caught what we wanted for Tuna and then went looking for the Mahi. Unfortunately, they were nowhere to be found, but that's fishing. We all decided to go after some Yellowtail, which we found. We caught a bunch of Yellowtail to bring home and then there were all the ones we got to fight, but lost to a group of sharks. Once we got back to the marina, Captain Bruce cleaned and bagged all the fish for us to take home. We highly recommend Captain Bruce and Easy Does it Islamorada charters if you want a great day on the water and alot of fish!!

Great trip despite the seas
4 Hour Trip (AM) on June 11, 2025 • 2 adults
Took a 4 hour AM trip, was wind against tide so it was a bit rough. We started out catching some yellowtail snapper then moved over going out further to get some Mahi Mahi. Cap't Bruce put us on the schoolie Mahi pretty quick, using binoculars and his vast knowledge to find them. He gave us several options of what type of fishing we could do.
Even though conditions were a bit rough he plowed through with minimal bouncing and spray as possible.
He is truly "Captain Easy"! Easy to be around, easy to fish with and easy going. Would highly recommend and we will be a repeat customer next time down here.

Captain Bruce was excellent. He communicated well ahead of time as we had to work around some weather in the forecast. We had a 4 hour afternoon trip booked, but forecast was calling for high winds. Rather than going offshore, he called a day ahead and offered to reschedule for a better day. Since we didn’t have any other days to go, he suggested we go in the gulf for calmer waters. That meant about a 45 minute ride each way, but we had 2+ hours of great fishing where we went.
We had a family of 4 (11 and 13 year old kids). Captain Bruce was easy going and spent time talking to the kids. We have a little bit of fishing experience, so he quickly showed the kids the basics for how we were fishing today and we were quickly off.
We probably caught at least 30 fish, and a wide variety (mackerel, snapper, catfish, trout, and more). We kept 6, and he cleaned and bagged them for us and gave us a few suggestions where to take them for dinner.
Start to finish, it was exactly what we were looking for, have some fun, catch plenty of fish to keep everyone excited, and leave with a little bit of dinner. If I come back to the keys, I wouldn’t think twice, I would book with Bruce again.

Bruce is an amazing guy that will make sure you catch fish. Our group was a mix between fishers of all skill levels, and he made it fun for everyone. He explained everything, teaching while we fished.
Eating the fish was almost as good as catching them!
